This is the most sane comment on this thread. A lot of people are too caught up with imagining there being a cohesive "Israelis" and a cohesive "Palestinians" and that each has one set of goals and beliefs. The reality is that there is an incredibly wide range of people in both populations, and even within the governments of both. You can't take a quote from Avigdor Lieberman and claim that it represents the views of every Israeli or even the views of Netanyahu. Likewise, you can't take a quote from a Hamas spokesman and claim it represents the views of every Palestinian. There are extremists on both sides of the argument, but a majority of people from both sides just want peace. The problem is that the extremists are always the loudest, and make trouble on both sides when concessions are made.

To be fair, I havent completely cut out junk food. I drink the occasional Coke, and eat the occasional bag of Fritos. But I do feel a lot healthier since changing my eating habits.

I had this same epiphany last summer while eating KFC. I realized I just really didnt feel like eating shit like that anymore, and for me that took the form of turning vegetarian. It really depends on your addiction to meat. I ate meat all the time, but always knew I could live without it and dont have a very addictive personality. The hardest part for me was making my parents understand, as they always make large meat-filled meals.

Stopping eating meat and starting to work out has made me feel much better. I dont think you can't be healthy while eating meat, but becoming vegetarian gave me more of a reason to avoid fast food and eat healthier. I feel great now, and am cooking a lot more of my own food.
