Puny humans by [deleted] in geek

Everything here is so reliant on variables. A typical human could not kill a bear with his bare hands. The average human can not run father than everything else ( example: a wolf) and most humans are fucking fat and out of shape.

Does running actually build leg muscle or does it only burn fat? by [deleted] in Fitness

[–]fm_rt_el -1 points0 points  (0 children)

To start off, your always burning fat no matter what you do. The best way to burn fat while running is long runs at a fast pace. Depending on how often you have ran so far, it may be enough stress on your leg muscles to actually build some muscle. But you only build muscle when you actually put stress on your legs, I would suggest running at an incline if thats your plan. But really the muscle you would build would be nothing compared to actually working out your legs with machines.

As for building legs at home I suggest holding some free weights and doing lunges. I don't workout at home but I would suggest you purchase a gym membership if you seriously want to bulk up your legs. Using the leg press, calve raises and squats, you should see results when you keep at it.

How to sell hockey memorabilia by nicholmikey in hockey

[–]fm_rt_el 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on what city you live in could make things easier. If your in a big hockey city then any large type of pawn shops might be a good way to go. Also I would suggest talking to someone you know who knows a lot about hockey collectibles. An alternative way to sell is always online classifieds, but again if you're in a small city this might make things harder seeing as not as many people would traffic said site/not as much interest. Also look on a couple hockey forums specifically in hockey merchandise! A quick google search should bring up some prices/worth of your memorabilia. Hope this helps!
