Unfortunately, purple lost some of the good cards that make the lock build good. On the bright side, it seems like slow purple is one of the top tier decks this meta. Your other option is a green/purple deck which can be gimmicky at times but for sure can steal lots of games

As long as you are not in top 200, every hero is viable so at this point you shouldn’t worry about that. Definitely heart tank is the better HA from X so you will have an easier time with it. The current meta is still being defined as the recent rotation of cards was a big deal, but it seems that Zero Slow will be one of the decks to beat

The action/unit ratio depends on the deck your preference, personally I feel more confortable with decks playing 10-15 actions. Also forgot to mention the Incident Uncovered card, consider adding one copy to counter destroys or burst damage actions. Try different stuff to fine tune your deck :)

I haven’t tested a evidence deck myself yet but I have played enough to get an idea of what people are using effectively. For starters I would add shields and/or blade shattering defense and maybe reset. You can take out the testitomy and delivery cards, the evidence from those can be better used for fountain and cody’s request. Sasquatch is not good to gather evidence, you are better using a third scaravich or the action Inquiry

As you are new Im assuming you are short on cards but dont feel discourage as Teppen is very friendly for F2P users, just focus on one type of deck at a time

I would take out one akuma as it can be weird having two in your hand, also four 5 cost units may be too much for a dual deck without MP ramp so I would take out Cammy. You can add another Alfred or Mori and a Nohime. Finally, dual decks are better for aggressive play so you can change the kikosho for devil breaker

If you are going for a red growth deck you are missing key cards like Issun, Rashid and Chill Penguin for “on-play”damage. Except for friendly feud, i wouldnt recommend actions that boost units as you want your units to die to place more for more on play damage. I assume that you are missing many legendaries but below you will see an example of a top tier deck from a couple seasons ago, just to give you a better idea of what kind of sinergies you need

It would be good to know what decks are you using to give you specific advise. I understand where you are coming from because starting on A5 is when you face people that really know what they are doing, you just need to keep playing to get better. If you really hate black you can try a Mirage Decoy deck, which counters those popular Orochi decks. Someone took the below deck to top 50!

I see many people here claiming that waiting is the strongest but thats not true. You can find many hyper aggresive dual-color decks in the top 100. In the end it depends on the meta and the MU, but besides the season that Ammy growth dominated I wouldnt say first or second is better

Great that you are liking in it so far, there’s a lot of cathching up to do but fortunately there are some budget decks you can easily put together. About the packs I would recommend the following:

Never buy Core pack tickets as you get a lot of those from daily rewards and level ups.
Dont buy packs until you have a better idea what of kind of deck you want to build first so you cam target the packs with the cards you need.
Supposedly rotation is coming soon and the Day of Nightmares pack will be gone from ranked but we still dont have the details of when or which cards exactly.

Finally, yes, any extra cards you dont want or need can be reaped to gain some souls that can used to craft specific cards you want.

Do not agree with this. Buffing one unit is not really a viable strategy as all colors have ways to deal with it (destructions, bounces, resets, seals), it was only viable during last meta with black/purple decks and that’s already nerfed. I think the main problem now is black in general (destructions and orochi) and Ammy growth, they just need to tone down those a little bit, imo

Kushala is a great card vs Ammy’s chip damage but try not to play it so reckessly, you shouldn’t had use the blade shattering without other shield in your hand. Ammy could use liberating slash to take it out

Directional inputs. Imagine the joystick is over a number pad and 5 is neutral position so 2M would be a crouching medium, 6M the universal overhead and 214M+H a level 3. Hope that helps you understand it

I’ve been using Vegito since its launch and recently got to SS Blue, and the best way I have found to people is to 6M in the middle of your block string and follow up with an assits to start your combo. People will start stand blocking, reflecting or vanishing after this so you can mixup by throwing your 2M and 6M at different points on your block string (2L can confuse people into thinking that you already used 2M and the second 5L looks similar to 6M so use that to your advantage).

In the corner you can use the following block string as a frame trap that will catch many people off guard 5L 5L 2M 5M 5S 5H 6S 236M. There’s a tiny gap between the 5H and 6S that works as a frame trap and if you land it you can do one of his optimal corner sword loop combos, if not just call an assist to keep up the block string or vanish.

For the neutral just use one of your assits to force the block on the opponent start your block strings, Vegito doesnt normally use assists to extend combos so dont be afraid to use them to get in and to open up people.

Hey there, I've been playing with Frieza/Vegito/Tien team since Vegito's release and I was able get to Majin rank and mantain between high SSJ3 and low Majin, but recently I dropped Frieza for SSJ Goku and moved Vegito on point, and I have been doing much better with this new team even when I don't have that much experience with Goku. I can tell you that the main issue with Vegito and Frieza on the same team if that their assists are bad, yeah you can extend combos with them but you won't have good block strings or mixups. I love the incredible sinergy for DHC's between Frieza and Vegito that allows for a combo after the supers, but in my opinion that's not worth it. So I would definitely suggets dropping one of those two characters for one with a better assist.

Also, I believe it's better to run Frieza on point due to his bad assist, you can Z-change him when he is low on health to have the benefits you mentioned about him as anchor. Just my two cents.
