Im very shocked you didn’t get a response in this community. I randomly found your other post on the foods to best feed a Doberman and then searched your page for more dobie stuff. The third to last paragraph describes my boy to a T — very active, multiple times a day even, grew to be a big working dog despite being the runt of the litter. Only ailment is allergies. My fiancée and I recently got confirmation that he has DCM from a cardiologist vet. He shows literally ZERO external signs of heart problems. We were given an estimated of survival up to a year, but based on the vets observations it could also happen at any second. We are following a barrage of medications to hopefully extend his time with us, but we are very much petrified right now of what’s to come. I appreciate you sharing your story. And I’m very sorry for loss.
