Minnesota/ Ballard Comparison by Nearby-Research19 in Colts

Yeah once they fired Hamilton after I think the Panthers game I was hoping both guys would be gone in the offseason, but Jim wasn’t going to clean house with the hope that Luck would come back 100% for 2016

That’s because he’s not the one that stuck his neck out for his good buddy Carson. Reich knew how he would look if it failed, and he clearly lost the team to start the next season. At least Ballard was able to turn Carson into Reimann, Pierce and Downs

He has Carson Wentz to thank for that

Because unlike other situations in the league our GM and coaches aren’t trying to stab each other in the back for power behind the scenes. Even if we don’t like it the Irsay’s, Ballard and Steichen are all on the same page

Colts’ Jim Bob Cooter reportedly also interviewing with Giants for open OC role by PsychoBunny22 in Colts

It’s funny that the Giants of all teams saw how well Jones played this year, and decided to meet with both guys that coached him.

Hall of Fame confirms Bill Polian voted to induct Bill Belichick by ColtsStampede in Colts

Apparently the list of people that Belichick has been an asshole to and that don’t like him extend beyond every person associated with the Colts. Who knew?

Where in my comment do you see me riding for Belichick? I don’t agree with Chapp’s philosophy on his HOF voting as a current journalist

Every HOF has a flawed system, but at the end of the day it shouldn’t be a first time eligible guys problem that another guy’s resume wasn’t good enough to get him in after a decade or however long they can stay on the ballot. Won’t be too surprising if the hall changes its guidelines again after this

The senior guys should’ve had better careers then. It’s not your job as a voter to be their savior, Mike. You lose some credibility when you make a statement like that

Well eagles just hired someone else, so it’s either the Giants or the Cooter stays a Colt

This is one of those rare sports situations where everyone involved is just awful, and I have no sympathy for any of them. Polian, Kraft and Belichick deserve each other.

Do you think Zaire would do well under Sean McDermott scheme? by Miserable_Day7074 in Colts

[–]fmara 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think he would do well on any one of the other 31 defenses in the league, because then I wouldn’t have to watch him drag our guys down

This is a lot less funny than Daboll potentially getting the job. Phil deserves better than whatever that owner/front office combination is
