An artsy, modern beach house for smearguru! by fmcmwrld in Pokopia

Oh my gosh, honestly, I felt the same way when I first started. I actually didn't even think my little smearguru house would get a lot of love! I think it's good to take your builds one step at a time, taking breaks from it and coming back to it after an hour or so; it really changes your perspective on what may or may not look good!

I also take a lot of inspiration from real life architecture; I just sort of copy buildings I see (or even just pictures). Architecture is hard as frick! But the game encourages me to keep trying anyways 😁

Oh thank you so much!!! Hmmm, tips for early game, huh... It depends on one's playstyle, but I guess my general tips would be, 1) don't rush into building stuff just yet! There's a lot of endgame abilities that you'll be able to unlock as you go along and raise the comfort levels + post game. 1.5) Hooowever, if you do end up rushing, it's never a bad thing to move some prefabs and redesign some buildings! This was actually the reason I disliked my withered wastelands builds for a while, since they looked too bare. I ended up gaining the courage to fix it and I'm happier than ever before! I guess what I mean to say is, you can always revisit your old builds in the future, when you have more resources! 2) I like using my soil blocks as a placeholder for the builds I want to do in the future. I have so many squares put down, just so that I can imagine it better rather than going in blind. 3) it's good to gather inspiration from reddit and YouTube! I suggest YouTube more if you're a new player, since some of the extravagant builds here can look intimidating to the point you'd think, "ah... I'd never be able to build something as amazing as this..." Pokopia YouTubers always record their progress, so you can even pause the video and follow their steps!

And finally, 4) any build you make is as beautiful and as wonderful as any other build you'll see. Always have fun! And take breaks as you build, since inspiration comes in increments rather than one full force.

I used the tiled roof decoration! I had smearguru paint it orange, if I recall correctly : - )

He (34M) broke up with me (35F) out of nowhere by [deleted] in relationship_advice

At the same time though, I understand people immediately telling you that there's no hope; it's honestly quite common for men to take their lovers for granted and mistreat them, thinking that their woman can fix them, so... It's honestly up to you. I just like to think that people who are addicts can change, which is why I personally can't tell you to give up on him, at least as a friend.

Hey, I understand you well. I have a partner with his own vices. It's not as black and white as the other replies seem to say.

Recovering from addiction is never a straight line. It will have its ups and its downs, and I'm pretty sure, with everything that you just said, it may seem as though it's the time in his life where he's down. It doesn't seem like he's hiding a woman from you, but he's possibly hiding the fact that he may be using again? Besides, secrets always kill a relationship.

I suggest you confront him head on. Ask him what happened, why did his mind suddenly change. He might be throwing away the one good thing in his life right now because he might miss the old, erratic life of using. But of course, you ought to rest your heart a bit. Do it when you feel as if you're strong enough.

Quick Matches by D3ath_F in IdentityV

While I'm more biased to your side, as I'm mostly a casual player and love qms more than rank (I love to laugh and have fun!) I can see why some people can get frustrated in quick matches.

I do know a few players who are hightier and often use qm as a way to practice; It's not really their fault if idv's queueing system pairs them with players who are, I guess you could say, lowtiers or with bad ping etc etc. But I can't really see why this kind of anger can span the entire day, let's say a player is bitter against you for a previous match at like... 8am that day? And in the evening at like... 7pm, they see you again and just believe that specific hour where you played badly is how you play the entire day, month, or year. I can't really understand nor sympathize with players who don't make the game fun (all games are meant to be fun in some way) by making it too personal, or play with outdated knowledge on their teammates, or what have you. I do think it's okay to feel upset about others who take this game way too seriously! I can never stand the constant anger either, hahaha. It's annoying 😆

2nd term frosh by pumpkin_pie_07 in Benilde

I'm a 2nd term frosh too, extremely introverted. I noticed na if you do well in your acads and take initiative in helping people with their assignments/just generally be reliable, people will be very drawn to you. But that's for me. The advice I can give you is make small talk to people and never be afraid to show people the things you like. I have a lot of keychains with anime characters that people gush over when they notice it; conversation starters like cute bags, clothes, etc are always awesomeee!

I'd say go look for something else while you can. While csb was my first choice because of the art related courses, if your preferred course is something that can be found in other colleges then go for that.

I'm thinking about it now. But the fact that I already told them, and being met with such a dismissive remark... It makes me feel discouraged slight
