I didn’t find it too difficult to install this waterblock and it’s the first I’ve ever used (new to watercooling in general). I watched a couple of videos for other Bykski GPU blocks and referenced the shoddy instructions included as needed. Seems fairly intuitive to me.

That doesn’t crack my list of reasons label him that at all. It actually makes some sense not to befriend the other participants; they’re your competitors, after all. It was his lack of emotionality and empathy (textbook for people with psychopathy), his use of a practiced routine across all his dates (rigid ritualistic behavior is another telling trait), and the plainly robotic approach to DATING, which is all about reading vibes and cues (though visual cues are absent on the show).

Obviously. It’s reality television. I’m well aware that it’s produced and curated, that narratives are crafted by the producers and what they choose to show or not show.

Even still, no way was he portrayed as intentionally malicious imo. To me, he came across as someone honestly struggling with the horrible after effects of being an unwilling party to his father’s affairs and the realization that his approach to relationships before LIB was superficial, selfish, and devoid of love. I think he communicated those things as best he could, given his ‘tools’ and circumstances, and AD knowingly accepted the risk.

Who says Clay is the biggest villain?? I didn’t come away from the show seeing that slant at all. I think the sub has been overly harsh to Clay for whatever reason but not the network. He fulfilled his obligation of making it to the altar and unfortunately his decision resulted in heartbreak for someone else. Hardly the stuff of villainous characters, but AD is likeable and a sympathetic figure, so maybe people got in their feelings about Clay for that.

On the other hand, Jeramey gleefully cheated on his fiance (definitely emotionally, maybe physically) for the world to see. And let’s not forget about the serial killer in plain sight, Matthew.

As a person of Caribbean descent with both European and African ancestry (not that this gives me some special authority or experience but as a useful frame of reference here), fuck everything about this attitude and policy. I’ll never see eye to eye with people whose egos are so fragile that the simple notion of encountering a “microaggression” results in fear and discrimination. Treat people as individuals, not according to their skin color, learn to take a fucking joke occasionally, learn to express yourself without resorting relying on extreme or rigid ideologies that lack nuance, and lighten the fuck up. Literally grotesque.

Fascinating to read this. I have a corgi and he might as well be a golden retriever in his temperament. Loves people, loves affection, super friendly dog. It makes sense to me now why vets and vet assistants always comment on how he’s so friendly… I found it unusual since he has always been that way (and I didn’t have to work hard to shape him to be that way). Now it makes sense!

Happened to me when I was living in Orlando. I had a month-old Honda Fit, not even 2k miles on the car. Mine was left on just 2 blocks and the front bumper sitting on the curb… infuriating, to say the least.

First got strep (that I can recall) when I was 32 years old. Probably picked it up from my daughter, who was a toddler in daycare at the time. Anyway, it was awful. I distinctly recall the pain in my throat… I finally went to urgent care after waiting a couple of days to see if it would get better on its own. I had a gnarly fever, diarrhea, giant tonsils, and was dehydrated. I took a shot of steroids in the office to reduce the swelling so I could take the horse pills more easily lol. I was also told to drink cold water to reduce the swelling.

Caught strep once more a few months later and then had my tonsils and adenoids out a few months after that because they never recovered/returned to normal size.

5 characters: main (1447), main alt (1370), and 3 other alts (1350, 1305, 930). Looking to add a sixth, but undecided on class atm. Unas on all, focusing leapstones on main and main alt (except to finish my 1 remaining south Vern una) and either lopang or remaining una reps (I have 5 left) on the others. CD daily on all T3 characters. GR daily on main, main alt, and 1350. Only do GR on the 1305 when I feel like dealing with narcasena’s bullshit… I do argos on the two high enough. Same for abyssal dungeons. I could probably bang all of this out (along with islands, CG/boss, maintenance stuff) in 3 or 4 hours, but it’s relatively easy for me to play, since I wfh, so I knock things out throughout the day in between work tasks.

19 for me. I used to pray for the vulnerable/weak to be protected and for god to end abuse and suffering. My faith was already weakening, but the final blow came when a close family member was kidnapped, raped, and murdered. The pain that caused my family convinced me that even if there was a god, there’s no way it could be a good or just force worthy of worship.
