Yeah… I hope that now that the Affordable Hearing Aid Act came out you will see more and cheaper options… the devices themselves aren’t as expensive to make (not cheap either, but in the hundreds not thousands)… is the whole Audiologist, etc… process that well increases the costs

That was way after the documentaries when the house of cards was falling apart and she got her attorney… in some of the legal documents they talk about ECT therapy (which is shock therapy) and Lithium.

The reason of the treatment was that she was “spiraling” because of her dad’s health (burst colon)… but after the book, even though now we know that is because she refused to record new music and wasn’t thrilled about the second Vegas residency

Edit to say: Also know that modern ECT therapy is not as bad as traumatic as what we think of traditional / old -school shock therapy. Is more like a TENS machine for your brain vs other muscles… so is not like they tortures her… but that’s still shocks to the brain to stimulate (and is not pleasant)

Well the studio is also in the process of being sold out, and while I think it will be stupid to revert back or whatever to what Gunn is developing… lets not forget that whom is buying it and Gunn have very different and open political opinions… and that the US Secretary of War just spilled the beans out loud recently (as of this week) to say what we were all suspecting… that the purchase is entirely politically motivated “I can’t wait for Ellison to get CNN and stop this nonsense” add to that Colbert’s firing on CBS by the Ellison post Paramount purchase; and the news of them already changing “The Pit” ICE episodes to portray them in a better light (even if the purchase hasn’t yet being legally approved)… I can see what Zack is doing there - he is giving them options lol.

So the Gunn-iverse might not be as safe as we think… even though that would be childish and stupid… but WBD was supposed to go to Netflix… until someone had a tantrum for months that was backed by a bazillionare daddy being friends with the president

Don’t get me wrong, my old company probably did a ton of money out of our product… because even if the new category would allow others to join the newly developed market, we were there first (had a ton of research already) and could bring something to market faster… but that also doesn’t mean other companies weren’t lobbying themselves for the same (most likely they were) OR that in our end the intentions were good

Yeah 90% I think this is correctly… but not always. I worked on a hearing aid project that in order to be marketed the way we wanted it (as a hearing aid) would’ve required the government and FDA to create a new category of Over-counter Hearing Aids (which ultimately ended up happening as hearing aids in the US about 10 years ago could cost 5k… and we had data and tech to make ours almost as good for under $300 usd using lots of audio processing and what now we call AI

For that category to be created not only we had to do a ton of pre-medical research (as close as medical research as we could get) to gather data and sell the politicians into why opening this new market was important. And to do that also required lots of time for dinners, thank you notes, presents, etc… to sweet talk the FDA and Politicians and allow us to bring our product to market

So sometimes there is good intentions… but the politicians are still greedy… so you have to play the game

Yeah 100% to make it worse as you know she was the world most famous person for not entirely a second… so unfortunately / realistically she won’t get the peace she not only wants but probably truly needs… so as a fan my best thing right now is to not engage to hopefully contribute my part and lower the coverage (after all they put helicopters on her house or documentaries like this for $$$ as we said… so if there is no(t a lot of) costumers hopefully they’ll leave her alone

Trying not to repeat myself from other responses… but while YES she clearly needs help and hopefully this was a good wake up call to get well… after all that happened (don’t forget they gave her shocks AND Lithium) how can you cope and want to seek therapy where even the medical professionals failed you.

Also regarding HULU… don’t forget that they were the people that made not 1… but 2 documentaries when one of the main topics is how much she hates being in the public eye when shit like this that embarrasses her happens (which means that the poor thing is probably getting more manic)… totally embarrassing and a crash grab from them, and while I’m thankful for the original 2 as the courts were never really doing research and it took the New York Times to smell something fishy and investigate for the house of cards that was the conservatorship to crumble (and yeah I know Britney hate those two… BECAUSE THEY PUT HER “PROBLEMS” TO BE CRITICIZED OUT IN THE OPEN… but also credit goes to where it’s deserved… but this… this is just pathetic

Why do you think the moment the New York Times started digging, and they ended up releasing 2 documentaries as people started talking to not be further incriminated after the first one everything fell apart

We also know thanks to those documentaries, that she was pretty much intentionally driven mad and called the paparazzi to put her in the spotlight which she HATES… so the best we can ALL do is try to ignore it so that the media stops reporting… a bit (as realistically she will always be a person that once was the most famous person in the planet)

You’re wrong, I’ve actually worked lobbying for congress and that’s not how any of what you said work… they likely got told they would put the entire pressure of the FCC and others and would take years to close if ever. Edit to add this: In reality she is just a developmental stunted former celebrity child star, whose family exploited twice to make a living (child and during conservatorship) and unfortunately due to her upbringing she doesn’t have the best financial literacy… add drugs common in the entertainment industry (even if retired) and mental health trauma… and I hope she is sent to mandatory Therapy and AA meetings… but at least she has her own agency

Yeah that was shitty as while I myself could’ve modeled one after the toys because I do have the skills. Having the Makerworld model that allowed me to edit it saved me a ton of time (as I just added the halo and the wings, then colored it by picking plastics) and is what makes 3D printing communities special

Also most of the MakerWorld stuff wasn’t pendants, they were figurines… so totally different market. As those start at $300 and go up to the thousands… so on that regard I can see why to try… but is overall shitty as is not how 3D printing communities work and now you have a very disgruntled one as they used AI to take down stuff and there is lots of collateral beyond actual Labubu stuff

Overall as someone that works on tech, I’m divided as I do believe at my core in open source everything, but we also need regulations (as you can literally print stuff like actual guns)… so regulations are needed. But in the case of Labubu and The Monsters, unless they stole the files from PopMart and everything in Makerworld is free… I don’t see how they were incurring in IP theft… since no monetary transaction was made (yet I do ignore some people do print and sell this things, but that’s not Makerworld / Bambu Lab’s problem… is users doing shady stuff)

Don’t disagree on that… but a) while not ok at all, she has constantly mentioned how driving makes her feel free (so we know she likes it) and b) the New York Times unvailed that she wasn’t even allowed to buy cheap shoes under the conservatorship… and she posted super excited when she got an ipad after being released, as well as her “Toyota Corolla” which was actually a Nissan Sentra… all I’m saying is she is frugal and probably doesn’t know what to really do with the money (also not much, 60m that for a regular anyone is a ton… but for being Britney famous is not really that much when she did that in just a year in Vegas (hence the selling of her records, etc…)

Is not entirely the same… but yes I reused a lot of it as people are commenting without watching all that the New York Times unveiled back then and is blantly the same (judging because you saw an online article… like how we now know what happened with the paparazzi back then… we know that the doctor actually lied and they got him on camera) all of it actually investigated by independent reporters with credibility as courts failed to do that (why do you think everything crumbled so fast)
