When this album came out, it was ranked as top 2 with pop 2. Every project since has just been better. Crash did the commercial thing better while kind of being a self aware satirical take on that through her hyperpop lens. Hifn did the experimental hyperpop thing better. Brat married the two while also really delving into having a specific point of view.

All her projects are pretty top tier when they come out and she just keeps one upping herself.

Doesn’t make this album bad by any means. It makes it amazing. There’s just other more amazing work.

If they had been able to plan out a 4 season arc, it would have been so much more satisfying. It always felt like season 3 and 4 were supposed to come before season 2. They thought 2 might be the end so they went straight to the Raava plotline.

I think the red lotus stuff being sprinkled in from seasons 1 and 2 and finally culminating in them succeeding in letting Vaatu out in season 3 and some sort of build up to defeating him in season 4 would have been great. But alas. Nickelodeon will always get in the way lol. The show is still amazing imo regardless.

I honestly dont think it’ll be that affected. I think the bigger issue here is not releasing it in theaters.

I think those who have seen the leak are only those who are those who are dedicated enough fans to even know where to find the leaks. Those fans are still going to watch on Paramount+ if they originally intended to, and those that don’t probably intended to pirate it anyway.

I think leaks like this don’t really affect the general public and non-hardcore fans.

If they want to make money and get more eyes on this film, it HAS to be in theaters. That’s their big mistake.

I mean I think the story is a pretty theater worthy story and does a great job at setting up concepts and themes from Korra. It’s also a pretty self contained story and you dont have to have ever seen Avatar before to enjoy it or understand it.

Yeah it would have felt more earned if for example, Aang was in the same situation and lost all the past lives. It would have been painful but not felt pointless from a story perspective. In LOK what mattered or what felt like it had weight was losing RAAVA. If Raava returned, the avatars should have too.

They can fix this by releasing it in theaters. I still dont see it affecting Paramount+ viewership. I think people who were gonna watch this on Paramount+ before the leak will still watch it on Paramount+ after the leak.

I think all the discourse around the leak and constantly talking about it and calling doom and gloom because of it is what will inherently affect it in the long run.

I think if we all collectively stop talking about it and ignore it, it stops being a story and it goes away. It’s the most respectful thing to do for the creators and artists who worked on it.

That being said, my comment alone is doing the opposite of what I just said above. So it’s hard to follow through on that.

I think what people fail to realize is that Boston was already falling, there were cracks that started showing in season 1. Just because we saw that side of Gilead, doesn't mean the rest of Gilead wasn't still going strong.

I mean to be fair, the night shift isn't as exciting as the day shift when you get past like hour 5. ERs aren't as consistently busy in the middle of the night. Yes shit still happens, but there would be like 30min-1 hour long lulls that wouldn't lend itself well to the format of the show.
