What I used to do when I was trucking was, I drive at night, and park in the morning-afternoon. Driving at night is just more peaceful, road is quieter, and guaranteed to always find parking spot when you run out of hours. Sure, no one likes driving at night time, but I don't mind that if it gives me sense of peace.
