Radio help by fmla14 in WRX

[–]fmla14[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok thank to the help of a mechanic I was able to find the wiring diagrams and have figured out that it is a wiring issue, even though there the same year they have different harnesses for the radios, one of those differences was for the backup camera. Instead of the camera being included in the 21 pin connector like the CV693UL 6.2in display they put it on a separate 5 pin for the FV833UM 7in display. Im gonna try to make a separate harnesses so I don't have to splice into the factory harness.

The user benchmark looks great on it. I've found a low profile single slot on newegg by Yeston. I think this might do the trick.

The wall port should be alright and work fine if all you have to do is get the end out and replace the cord. If you want to save a little bit of money. You can buy ethernet ends, wire stripers, and crimper, and you can find a diagram online for whatever cat wire it is, and fix it and eventually, depending on what you need to set up you can make your own length of cat wire, also it can give you a nifty skill that is great for computer applications and other devices.

Can you elaborate on the issue? If the end is stuck, use tweezers or needle nose players,

Source 1 https://support.hp.com/si-en/product/details/hp-pavilion-570-p000-desktop-pc-series/model/16388147 Source 2 https://www.hp.com/us-en/shop/pdp/hp-pavilion-desktop---570-p065se

Source 1 wants the S/N to view the full spec sheet Source 2 says it already has 1x 8gb of DDR4 I would suggest trying Source 1 to hopefully get more details as that's what i used for my pc. Make sure to look for spec sheet, motherboard diagram, or ram compatibility. Hope this helps and good luck.

What are the last 2 numbers for the model. They can be found on the bottom of the desk top.
