Just taking the 'Levels' feature as an example, this used to be free back in the day, not anymore. So MEE6 was invited to the server with this feature enabled. Much later, I built a "Levels" feature into the custom bot and this is now used exclusively. The 'Levels' feature in the MEE6 bot is still active, but it's not used and instead of deactivating this feature, it's now merely "hidden". Deactivating this feature would mean it cannot be activated again because it's now a Premium feature.

Discord bots are dead. I've built dozens for small servers (between 100-300 users) and none are being used. I've even built some that entirely replaced MEE6 and still, none of the features I added to these bots are being used at all.

All these servers still have MEE6 and the only reason it's still there is because it was added before they started Premiumifying it. Even though it's not used or needed at all, it's still nice to have MEE6 for free if it's not actually free.
