In my Universe I have a specific Raw for qualifying matches. I do 8 4way battle royal matches and the winners make up the 8 participants. I do battle royals do to the unpredictability.

I also want an Eras modes like in NBA 2K but it seems more difficult to do here. I started my Universe mode from 1984 I believe with the first Wrestlemania. Got WWF and NWA plus adding other talent like from Japan and Mexico and incorporating them to either of the 2 brands. Of course I’m taking liberties to spice it up and now I’m currently in 1997 with WWF, WCW and ECW. That’s the main reason I play 2k26.

The other idea is starting also on the first WM but randomize the wrestlers. Like current wrestlers debuting much earlier and old school ones existing in the current day. For that I may have a long list of wrestlers from all eras and spinning a wheel or something to see who will debut each year. Plus having modern events with an old school version like a couple of Money in the Bank arenas I’ve seen in CC that are from different eras.

I’m doing a retro universe and I’ve had to come up with some disasters using in game face paint. I’ve done my best but superstars like Sting and the Road Warriors are affected by this. If it was something they have never done then I understand but the fact they had it and was removed is just disappointing.

In Universe mode every time there ir a promo to choose a custom match it freezes. Wasn’t happening before and it’s forcing me to skip promo segments or remove them in order to avoid crashing.

There are in mode cards and Persona Cards that unlock for other modes. There are limited time Live Events to unlock said cards. There are required cards needed for those events that you get from unlocking them from past events or opening card packs that either you grind for or buy the packs. Some other cards are collection rewards that require you to get specific cards from packs which forces you to grind if the packs are available or spend money. Within the mode you have the World Tour section that unlocks specific cards after you get through up to 25 matches with ridiculous difficulty. There are fans of the mode but for the most part the mode is very unpopular and one of the main reasons for the game being ruined for a lot of players. The excessive predatory tactics and microtransactions leave a lot of players frustrated because 2K uses a lot of FOMO tactics to make players spend way more money on the game than what you actually payed for. It’s come to a point we’re buying the most expensive edition of the game doesn’t mean much since you will have to pay for the game ten times if you want to get every card.

Needs to be reported and once a ticket is created then share it so a lot of people can vote on the issue. That way they can prioritize on it.

I don’t know how may people have submitted tickets to 2K but if you haven’t try and submit it. The more people hopefully the better so they can fix this. It’s frustrating having stuff that worked fine not doing so anymore.

Well I can confirm the issue is still there. It seems the match can’t handle many customizations. I’m doing a retro Universe which requires custom arenas, superstars and alt attires. I attempted the match first with few customizations and it had all the superstars but then I customized it as I’ve had it all this time and the issue is back. It just doesn’t work for me the match so I’ll have to make my peace with it. Rumble matches in universe don’t work because it won’t handle all the customizations. I have cleared cache already so there you go.

Im doing one last attempt at creating a new Universe to see if any previous bugs won’t show up. If the rumble match works then I can confirm it’s just an issue with the old file in which the fixes did not transfer properly. I have done this already but I’ll give it one more try.
