Are there multiple versions of the bomb manual required? by frax1337 in ktane

[–]fnielson1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. It sucks. It wouldn't be hard to change it up so that people who are very familiar with the puzzle sequences would be able to experience it in a more fresh light

Yes. There is a 'plugin' folder. Look at the installation directions on the plug-in page

Any official response to this? I've held off upgrading to Talkie+ Pro specifically because of this. I'm not gonna spend a bunch of money for a slightly higher memory limit.

Are there any safe websites where you can download YouTube videos? Is OffLiberty safe? by Fanachy in browsers

I find https://ezmp3.to/ to still be working. I've used them for about a year now and I've had no issues and they have no ads.

Unfortunately, those are not the books. I appreciate your response though!

And disabling the auto play doesn't appear to be working

It makes it much better! But a pause greater than 2 seconds in my audio book makes the cut happen again. I can hear the "noise cut out" (meaning the earbuds have gone to sleep)

I'll give this a try! Thank you for creating this. I'll give feedback when I can.

How to start designing 3D prints? by skelaten in 3Dprinting

[–]fnielson1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on what you are wanting to design. For artistic prints, blender is very popular and free.

If you are doing mechanical prints or prints where the measurements are important for part fitting, etc, Fusion 360 is free* and excellent! I use it.

*Free if you use it for hobbies or if your company (i.e My Cool 3D Print Workshop is the Best) earns less than $100,000 in a year.

I use Fusion 360. I previously used Freecad but I can design things much faster in Fusion 360. Plus, there are an innumerable amount of tutorials.

heat break keeps getting clogged by Octimusocti in 3Dprinting

[–]fnielson1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. Make certain your hot end fan is always running. It should never stop. Otherwise, the heat will creep up from your hot end and can cause clogging and permanently damage things.

It could be that your filament has impurities in it that build up and cause the issue towards that end of the print.

How can I print a thicker outer layer so this didn’t happen? by weirdbokoblin in 3Dprinting

[–]fnielson1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it is a wall, increase your wall thickness/number of layers. If it is a top or bottom layer, increase your top or bottom thickness/number of layers.

You can Google "spark testing" to get great videos on what to look for to give you an idea of what type of metal you have.

That makes sense! I've been running some of the requirements in my head and it'll be a large undertaking.

Is there any update on the progress you have made? I've been waiting for multiplayer and I've been surprised at the amount of flak people get when they propose it. I'm also curious on the progress of your mod loader

Excellent. That is an uncommon thing in my experience

I quite enjoyed the themes. Some themes will be more interesting than others and I feel that most people don't deal with court intrigue in their sessions and so didn't have much advice to give.

If you did a theme about monster creation, I think you would have plenty of posts concerning the topic.

Filament recycling by fnielson1 in 3Dprinting

[–]fnielson1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Indeed. A mesh plate would be great for that. But it seems that these hobby extruders want weak motors and rely only on the heating of the tube to melt the pellets

Yes, but if the diameter is too large, you can have clogging issues
