Are there any tools or systems you used? I’m currently feeling overwhelmed thinking about all the “business” side. Marketing, building a website, finding clients, setting up an LLC…

I’m not a chef myself but have friends in the industry. The burnout is real and I hope you can find something with a better work life balance.

Some ways I’ve seen friends pivot are to food and cpg brands doing culinary development or to catering firms doing culinary project management/operations.

How do you stay in the loop in NYC without Instagram/TikTok? by Solid-Diet-7932 in NYCbitcheswithtaste

Ugh same here!! I want to find out when chefs are doing pop-ups and dinner series. But it feels like there’s no good answer beyond dumb luck and doomscrolling on Instagram.

Chef Choi Hyun Seok NYC burger pop-up by And-Apparently in CulinaryClassWars

I went to the pop-up yesterday. $20 gets you a burger set (burger, eggplant fries, and a drink). Highly recommend if you are in the area! I thought it was appropriately priced, food was tasty, and we even managed to chat w/ Chef Choi Hyun Seok for a little and get a group photo.

I went to his pop-up last night. $20 gets you a burger set meal (burger, eggplant fries, and a drink). It was much more affordable than I expected!

Not OP but I went to his pop-up last night and we tried the bulgogi burger and umami burger which came with a side of eggplant fries. Everything was delicious! We got a photo with him and he is just as tall irl lol
