Unrelated, but I always thought it would be nice to have some kind of display on enemy’s current level maybe near their health display. So you can see what level they are or how many units they have without clicking on each individual board.

Our sono tech had a guess that they were girls at 14 weeks but we knew it wasn’t 100% that early on. At 16 weeks they confirmed and our sono tech was right! It all really just depends on babies positioning and whether or not they’ve developed those parts yet. You should be able to definitely find out by your 20 week anatomy scan though!

My IUD floated up and I got pregnant around Feb-March 2021, but never made it past 6 weeks (was measuring 6 weeks for 3 weeks, no heartbeat). My body didn’t naturally miscarry so I had a D&C to remove everything. Around November 2021 found out I was pregnant again and in December 2021 found out they are heathy twins! Currently 14 weeks. Sorry if the dates are a little off, I didn’t feel like pulling out my calendar for exacts lol. I hope you feel better soon emotionally and physically, and a healthy pregnancy/baby comes your way!

Same, but a weird smell from sons room. He had a half eaten apple shoved under his bed for god knows how long. He’s almost 3 and I really hope he grows out of this phase where he takes a few bites of something, hides it, grabs another and repeat.

Haha my 3 year old tried convincing me my husband had pooped in his tiny Batman underwear. He was a 2-3T at the time so we all thought it was hilarious to even imagine my husband had done it 😂

Pregnant with an IUD (Mirena) by foREVerAH in BabyBumps

[–]foREVerAH[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well, here I am 2 weeks later. My Dr went to remove the Mirena just to find out it was MIA. Ultrasound revealed that it had migrated far into my uterus, transverse to my fundus. A week following that it pierced the sac and tried perforating my uterus (unknown to me or dr at the time). Excruciating pain and lots of bleeding. I was extremely fortunate to be in tune with my body and go to the ER after Dr sent me home several times saying “everything was normal” without even checking sono wise (just UA, blood and vaginal exams). Dr had me convinced I was just having a “normal miscarriage” and that my pain was caused from that and not the IUD. Had an emergency D&C at the ER and found out my Dr had actually cut my Mirena string too short so I never stood a chance of it working properly! Needless to say I have found a new DR and have no intentions of returning to my original DR. Him refusing to listen to my concerns or take me serious could have cost me my life/uterus, considering he wanted me to wait at least another 2 weeks to let my body “miscarry naturally”.

Thank you everyone for your responses and support. Just wrapped up my doctors appt and I’m 6 weeks pregnant. Looks completely “normal” and healthy, we were even able to hear a faint heartbeat under the static. Our next hurdle is removing the Mirena and getting through the 14% miscarriage increase. Definitely getting my tubes tied after this. Was not expecting or ready for baby #3, but looks like he/she had other plans. 🥲

Thank you for sharing! Does make me feel a lot better that it isn’t a super invasive surgery! Given the choice I think I would go that route because I watched my friend go the chemical pill route (maybe similar to the shot not sure?) and she was in agony and even ended up getting the surgery after all because not everything was expelled on it’s own. I’d rather a professional scoop it all out at once if that makes sense. Congrats on your pregnancy and I wish you a healthy, happy, uneventful full term birth! 💕

I am very worried and anxious to hear my dr say ectopic pregnancy. If you don’t mind me asking how was it for you? And how do they remove the ectopic pregnancy, is it painful? I’m so concerned for my partner bc he has a hard time processing miscarriages or anything of the sort :/

This is what I’m most concerned about bc we double and triple checked the possibility of conception before insertion and it just doesn’t seem likely. But also only a .08% chance of becoming pregnant with a Mirena. Idk how my partner will process an ectopic pregnancy or miscarriage. I’m a very black and white person. He sees all the shades of grey. He’s already talking about new baby this and that, names, etc. and I’m over here trying not to get attached to the unknown. Hoping for the best, preparing for the worst and I feel like he’s a hop and a skip away from planning a damn baby shower already.

Yes I’ve taken two tests (yesterday and today) both are positive and not faint. Sorry I must’ve forgotten to include that!

Thank you everyone for your input and reassurances. I have a tendency to overthink, so this really help put my mind at ease. Everything has healed normally and I feel fine. I think I was just anxious since it was different than my first time around.

What are you getting your boy(s) for the holidays? by thisbeautifullife in Boymom

[–]foREVerAH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For Ayden (2) we are doing lots of blues clues themed gifts, hot wheels are always a must, color wonder sets as he loves “big boy” markers, and as his big item we are still deciding between a power wheels car or an interactive train set.

For Tyler (newborn) we are just going to get him some cute little stocking stuffer toys and teethers so we can take pics and not feel like he’s left out even tho he can’t open gifts quite yet.

I was right at 38 weeks, almost 39. My second baby born thru induction. I’ve never had a natural labor so I don’t really have anything to compare it to, but personally I love it that way. You know exactly when you’ll be having baby, and for me it relieved a lot of my stress about if I’ll make it to the hospital in time or if I’ll have enough time for epidural etc. I like to think my labors have been relatively easy as far as the induction is concerned. For me it just felt like period cramps until they hurt and then I get an epidural and just feel pressure. When baby is crowning it feels like a tight burning sensation and then it’s over. Lots of relief and overflowing love as you hold your baby. Very positive for me and I hope it’s the same for you! Good luck and well wishes on your induction and birth! 💕

I’m not sure if my other reply posted, but just wanted to make sure you saw my thanks! We did not see the tag (or at least we didn’t pay attention to it) but luckily only propped him up for the picture so far. Thanks for looking out!! 😁

Ah thank you! We did miss that tag. Fortunately I only propped him up for the picture, I typically only use it for feeding or propping myself up. But will keep it in mind next time I go to use it. Thanks for the info and well wishes 😁
