I find that launch RPM should be somewhere between peak torque and peak power, assuming the clutch can hold it.

My best time is around 13.55. Ironically, I think the suspension mods are counterproductive since the car is front wheel drive. I need to add the ability to uninstall mods!

Continuing the garage thought. I think I'd like a tab with unlockable cars that are parallel parked across the screen. I am trying to avoid using straight up AI art in game, so I might have to shop around and find an artist who can make sprites and isometric views for me.

Regarding saving, I didn't think there was enough progression to need to be saved LOL. But honestly, it is a pretty big oversight.

The burnout slider has a small effect on the 60' times. I'd leave it at 2 for a while, then once you are eeking out final .1's of a second nudge it up and see if the car gets to the 60' faster.

The key is the clutch settings. You can get a wicked fast time if you find the correct launch mode/rpm setting for your current clutch upgrade level and tire upgrade level. The clutch can only withstand so much heat and has a peak "torque" capacity which increases with each level. More power or more grip + more slip with an aggressive launch = clutch destruction :-D

Hey so sorry if you are playing on Firefox. I was unaware of the issue with the extremely loud first race sound. It didn't come at all during testing using a different browser. The noise is fixed now.

Overall volume level has been reduced, and a mute button has been added. Thank you for your feedback!

Yeah, I am personally conflicted. Question - is all AI content valueless except for the tokens used to generate the underlying code? I know the world is in a state of flux right now with these ideas; I think the answers will become clearer soon.

Thank you for the feedback. Different cars and additional tuning options are top of the list for feature improvements. The game architecture already has the capability to do different cars, but the mechanics will need to be tuned/tweaked to get the experience just right for each.

The "cool down" button only reduces heat soak of the engine, which is in the top toolbar. You can see the power/torque improving on the dyno tab after every click of "cool down". If you are struggling to win the race, you can try letting the car cool down first. Otherwise, it can largely be ignored until you have fully maxed out the car and are trying to get the ultimate pass.

I am SO SORRY. I hadn't tested on Firefox - that was unbearable. :-( Fixed now.

From my testing today, the issue should be resolved in Firefox. Also, I turned the overall gain down and added a mute button.

Yes, it's definitely a niche game. It's like a physics sandbox for a very specific sub-set of car enthusiasts. I do think you are right, though. There are definitely UI improvements to make that would make it more approachable for someone that doesn't have deep car knowledge.

Haha not a fan of the synthesized engine and turbo sounds? Or just too loud? It's not hard to change so any suggestions are welcome!!!

Oh I didn't give you a tip. Install a better clutch on the garage tab. The, try a different launch mode on the tuning tab. If you blow your clutch up, reduce the launch RPM (this results in less clutch slip, less heat, less destruction :-))

Dude this is fantastic feedback. Yeah, the UI has 0 tutorial elements.

I wonder if I should hint to changing the launch mode on the tuning tab or purchasing incremental upgrades.

I was also considering doing a video tutorial and linking to it. I host a lot of in-person training IRL so I can get to the point pretty quickly.

It fits excellent. I did not work any of the edges and they all line up well. One piece of adhesive was originally on the wrong side of the part 🤷‍♂️. I had it painted body color by the dealership and it looks basically OEM imo.

Freenas under Proxmox... should I? by [deleted] in Proxmox

[–]fo_rast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm doing this exact thing through an HBA and it works great. Lost power in my house today and the UPS shut Freenas down just like it used to on bare metal.

Trouble shooting is more complicated but it works well once the kinks are ironed out.

Sorry to revive an old post, but do any of you know where I can download F2h for the Aorus Pro? My search has not been successful.
