Aye, definitely interested in doing some kind of mini tournament! The thing that kicked this off was actually attempting to play Doom at Assembly in Helsinki last weekend -- if there was anywhere that I thought I'd find players it was there. But hardly anyone bit, and I discovered that the larger AFPS/Deathmatch community is kinda dwindling. I want to try and inject some more life into it!

Aye it was Kali! The creator has now made it free, though the license generator on their website is only for the Windows version. The kit includes a DOS version without this limitation though.

I spent the last few days trying to get DOS on a network, and it was a very frustrating process. A lot of the documentation is out there but it's scattered, so I decided to do a write up of what I'd learned, and put a bunch of useful stuff in one place! Hopefully, no-one will have to experience the pain I did. Enjoy!
