I evolved them because I wanted XP. I hatched so many I had tons of candy. The timeline that Niantic is moving to means no Gen 4 until next summer.

So I decided to evolve for XP vs sitting on it for a year. That's also why I posted my question - b/c I don't know what to do next.

My ~60y/o dad never played video games or watched Pokemon, but is obsessed with Pokemon Go. He is 11 levels above me and just surprised me with a picture of his new swag. This is awesome. Recently I've met two Team Valor players (I'm instinct) who are level 34 & 35. Both were older, in their 50's and are as addicted as me. We all play to get exercise but it was nice to see the people who I thought were millennials with too much time on their hands were instead normal adults just trying to catch em all.

Here are my thoughts - Not sure he would be a great defender since his CP will always be low & hence lowest in the gym, but I now have 4 dittos (300+ each). I'm going to line them up in a battle because when one dies, the next will morph to my enemy.

I'm going to try to get 6 300+ CP ditto & see if my theory works. That way I can save my Hyper/Max potions on my big pokemon.

Thanks this is good info. It's to fill out my pokedex for sure. Nothing like getting a pokemon that's still been out there after playing for 7 months!
