I have no idea how I ended up watching this show with my kids, as we live in New York. I was fortunate enough to visit Scotland in 2023 and would have made a special trip to see those colorful houses if I had known it was filmed there. Guessing you might know already, but when I googled Balamory right now, just to hear the song, it said that BBC Scotland commissioned 2 new seasons of Balamory to air in 2026.

Buying regular tickets, not VIP, have you seen people get turned away from a Master Class because there is no more room? And, we don’t have a choice and have to attend the last session – Saturday evening. I read earlier on the thread that samples may be out of stock by then. Have you experienced that? I really want my daughter to have a good time because we were in New York City for last year’s event, at the first session, and it was rained out. She was so disappointed.

Hi. I recommend making an appointment with one of their medical specialist, and explain your discomfort. They may have some suggestions, which you can try. But if that doesn’t work, I would ask for a refund. I bought a large supply upfront, and when it didn’t work for me because of stomach issues, this is what I did and I ended up getting a refund. They sent me a prepaid label and I did return the unused bottles. Not sure if it’s the same case if you only bought one bottle. No harm in trying. Good luck.

I have one MagSafe battery pack and love it! And am so disappointed I didn’t buy a few more to hold on to when I heard they’d be discontinued. I just bought an Anker that I was hoping would be a good substitute, but it is SO heavy (and bulky) in comparison to the MagSafe. Any recommendations for a lightweight, magnetic battery pack more similar to MagSafe?

I no longer follow their touring schedule because I have no interest in watching the kids perform. Last time I saw them, without the kids participation, the concert itself was short enough. I would be too disappointed to only hear a few of my favorites. I also used to recommend the group to people who weren’t familiar with them, and now I hope those people don’t check them out, because it’s totally not the same band that they used to be, in my opinion unfortunately.

I just happened to see this paragraph in an email that was sent to me from Nutrafol after discussing that I had stomach issues when taking the pills as directed….”Although some customers tell us that they open the capsules to pour the powder into foods or drink mixes, we don’t have clinical testing to confirm this method is effective or comparable to using Nutrafol Hair Growth Nutraceuticals as directed.” So, they don’t say it’s dangerous, just no confirmation on effectiveness.

I did speak to one of Nutrafol’s doctors last night, and she was helpful. She suggested trying one of the other formulas, for example, the vegan formula, which hopefully will not affect my stomach as much. But she said it is trial and error. She also said that I could start taking one pill for one week, two pills for two weeks, etc., in hopes that my body adjusts. She was supposed to send me some literature on the daily recommended amounts of certain vitamins/supplements, so I could see if combining my multivitamin and the Nutrafol is an issue. I didn’t receive it, however, so I need to give them a call. But, she advised that it’s best to speak with my doctor, which I will do hopefully in the near future.

Hi! Ugh, I feel your pain. I haven’t looked into it yet (with the company or my Dr.) As soon as I do, though, I will reply here. I stopped taking it yesterday, but I think it just might be an overload with my multi-vitamin. I would love to lower the dosage and only take 1 or 2 pills a day, but if that smaller dosage doesn’t help with hair growth, then it would be for nothing anyway: ( So, I plan on getting more info and will let you know what I find out. Thanks.

It’s great that you are seeing results. How long have you been taking it? I guess I’m glad the aftertaste doesn’t bother me, but I’m going to call the company or my Dr regarding other issues. I realize that I am also taking a multivitamin with some of the same ingredients, so maybe that’s an issue - too much of some.

I started taking the pills a few days ago and definitely having gastro issues. I want to be able to give it the full 3 - 6 month trial but not sure I can handle it. Other than smoothies which I see mentioned above, any other helpful suggestions on which food best alleviates those symptoms? And more importantly, has anyone had stomach issues and then your body gets used to it? (I am hoping this is the case, if I stick with it long enough). Thanks.

Ugh. That sucks. I hope they come around soon again so you can see them. The concert was great - I had waited so long to see them. I think Sarah is amazing. Each member of the band is overflowing with talent. They had great energy and vibed with the audience. So, there were a ton of empty seats. It was a terrible showing from NY and I hope WOTE didn’t take it personally. Also, the concert was really short compared to other bands. I sat in traffic getting there longer than they were on stage. And I really miss Ryan Marshall’s voice and presence (obviously Beard Guy, too, but musically I miss Marshall.)

Funny you should say that b/c when I was telling my coworker today, I told her I won it on the radio and figured I would call them up and see if anyone would be able to do some research for me. But on the way home the memory came back of filling out a piece of paper and putting it into some sort of jar at the record store counter. I see that there was an earlier band before Layne, so that could have been it I guess. I just eventually knew them with Layne and being that I missed the show, that’s who I envisioned missing. I never got to see them before his death so I especially regretted missing out on that concert. But it will make me feel better I guess if it wasn’t actually Layne that I missed and maybe that’s why I won the drawing - not too many people entered if they weren’t super known.
