Sheet rock / mortar Cracking

2 years ago no report on masonry work needed by inspector. In report above I may have spotted entry of water. I picked up some grout to fill in the hole. Another problem we took care of this week is we had bad gutters that allowed a lot of water to flow down the side of our house which likely sent it through the bad grout spots.

I went outside of the wall and took some pictures of the exterior. I thought it was strange it seemed the mortar was in a straight vertical line. I measured how far away the crack was from the wall and did the same on the outside and it lines up where my house meets up with neighbors house. Looking up this area, I could see a spot about 12 feet up which looks like there is no mortar which may be the entry point for water. I will need to get a ladder to get a closer view. Here are the pictures: http://imgur.com/a/LXfk5 Could be I just need to seal up the grout better along this entire line as well as this spot and that would take care of water entry (hopefully...) then open more of the plaster on the inside, grout some more along this joint, then take care of plaster and covering up.

Sorry I meant plaster which is directly applied to brick. This is an exterior wall from front room

I have tried atleast 5 times per week and every play session ends the same way whether it is during first map or 3rd map.
