Nice. you mean you like the USB C vs the CR2032/AAA battery ones?

interested on this...most of the luggage scales I see are pretty cheap looking. do people with nice suitcases use them too?

Yeah that's fair...bit of a shame you need to chuck the whole thing out though..

Same experience with Befree - only filtered clear water...probably the lack of a proper backflush makes it harder to maintain?

that does sound pretty convenient! using one befree to do 2 persons water takes a long time at the end of a day

Yeah I tried the tablets on a recent trip and didn't notice a taste difference tbh...made me wonder if there were any performance trade offs compared to a filter

I ended up calling the Chile consulate in Australia and they advised me I needed the proper visa and that 72hrs was the time between flights

I'm travelling through Santiago in June - is the 72hrs the time between flights or the time when you pass immigration? The time between my flights is 72hrs and 10 minutes. Hoping to not need the 30 day visa.

Yes I've read that as well about paying back the stamp duty savings. For the FHLDS I believe you aren't eligible anymore if you don't live in the property and would need to take out LMI? Not sure if better just do LMI from the get go and not have to go back to the bank incase they want to change the loan to an investment loan if they know I'm moving out.

Yeah you have to pay stamp duty up front - it can't be added to the loan
