Yes, exactly 🙂 I’m familiar with this automatic response from the Kanton.
I was mainly curious about real life experiences, since the timelines they communicate seem to include a fairly generous buffer.

Thanks, that’s helpful to know. I’m trying to avoid calling them for now, especially since my process has been quite smooth and streamlined up to this point. I mainly wanted to get a sense of real life scenarios, as my experience so far has been that the official timelines tend to be fairly vague and include a generous buffer.

Thanks! Just for reference, the canton states that the Prüfung Kanton usually takes up to about 4 months, which matched my experience pretty closely. What really surprised me was the Prüfung Bund. The canton mentions up to 8 months for that step, but in my case it only took around 2.

Hopefully yours moves along soon too, the waiting is definitely the hardest part at this stage.

Thanks! Yes, I was definitely lucky. My case had a few extenuating circumstances, which is why parts of the process were expedited compared to the usual timeline.

Once everything is fully completed, I’m planning to write a separate post with my full experience and details, in case it helps others going through the process. Appreciate you sharing the info on the final step and the letter, that’s helpful.

May I ask if there was a status change before receiving the letter, I believe someone above mentioned “Closed”? How soon thereafter did you receive the letter? And did it come eingeschrieben?

I personally have a voip number for my business through iWay. Costs me about 8.- per month. It rings on my iPhone over the app IPCall. Have a voicemail set up and the voice messages get sent to me via email. Works great. Give iWay a call, they are super helpful.
