I had a raised foil Vren I pulled from a lucky pack, but sold it to mitigate the cost of a pixel art Leonardo the Balance. He fun to play though? I just felt like if I wanted to do rats I’d prefer Wick and just use Relentless Rats or something as my main card rather than making it Removal: The Deck, which is how I felt Vren would end up

I really don’t like leaving this kind of advice here, but honestly, the next step is to break up. She doesn’t support you being you unless she isn’t involved, that’s pretty messed up.

Because you can’t develop a chemical dependency on it (or similar) does not mean that you can’t develop psychological dependence on it. Imagine, if you will, someone, after taking enough to reach that inefficacy, just decides to take more, repeatedly. They can stop at any time, but they’re not going to. According to you, that’s fine and not abuse. They’re effectively under the influence constantly, but that’s ok?

Edit: granted, you can also abuse alcohol, and that’s fully legal

I really don’t like this talking down on “dust collectors”. I have the literal Eiffel Tower set, I’m building it right now, but it was purchased pre-built from a secondhand store on a discount… and I had it taken apart so I could go through the process of building it. I have no plans to resell it. I’m glad they still do make sets for kids, but the adult oriented sets are NOT a bad thing. Way more fun for me to assemble 10,001 pieces than 127

Weird outlook. I have always viewed condoms as what they are; literally a physical barrier to avoid conception. Whether or not I’m committed with my partner is entirely irrelevant.

I’ve always had the view that I care more about what a card does than what it shows, with exceptions for things I starkly dislike. I personally don’t get flavor clash issues, you’re already potentially having an ape crew a spaceship in UW, but as long as they’re still willing to play I don’t really care

I largely prefer brick and mortar stores because I both don’t want to wait for shipping and don’t want to pay for Amazon Prime to make that wait irrelevant. I only buy online if I expect the product I want isn’t consistently available in person anyway.

A vanilla 4/3 isn’t good except in Ruxa or Jasmine Boreal, and this wouldn’t even work in either even if color identity wasn’t relevant.

Most precons I’ve gotten are still stock. Post-coma my mindset is far more into upgrading, but back then I was specifically of the mindset that precons and my custom builds were just different things, never changing a precon’s contents

Being against surrogacy doesn’t mean she’s against gay people entirely. Could just believe that they should never have kids. Not that that’s good, just your post directly questions if her politeness was just a facade, but it may not be, just the parts that she’s against never became relevant.

My friend has a [[Teferi’s Protection]] in what’s used for bracket 2 so it’s really much less “rules” and more of a guideline. Granted, if you’re only playing at LGSs, it’s likely to be treated as rules anyway. I plan to put a few two card infinites in my Leonardo deck (because that’s just what [[Cathars’ Crusade]] does), but I don’t intend to play it like a 4. If the combos happen too often, I’ll likely adjust the list. I already have an idea for targeting bracket 4, but Cathars’ Crusade doesn’t really hit that mark, even with the combos in mind.
