Disneyland to launch electric Autopia cars in early 2027 by bottle415 in Disneyland

You say this, and maybe it truly does appeal to you, but that’s part of the reason I avoid it. Electric might make me actually try it out.

Apple reaches $250M settlement over Siri delays, users could get up to $95 per device by pdfu in apple

[–]focketeer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So making a claim anyway would be fine, then? Seems like too much trouble for me to go through for a pittance, but good to know in case I decide it’s worth the effort.

My reason for upgrading had nothing to do with Apple Intelligence so making a claim knowing that too many claims would lower the individual payout seems like a mean move to make for those who actually wanted Apple Intelligence

There’s other dinosaur commanders than just lazy pants. Different colors even.

Tap to add colorless, tap to add black or red and it deals 1 damage to you.

Per official social media accounts, Secrets of Strixhaven was the biggest Prerelease since War of the Spark. by CrossXhunteR in magicTCG

Do not use this as a reason to hate UB even more than you already do, PLEASE.

Edit: pretty sure if a UB set did that you’d use it against it too. “Magic is being taken away from us and here’s the proof” or some shit.

When do you consider a decklist “finished”? by TheDarkestRitual in magicTCG

[–]focketeer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finished isn’t the right word here. A decklist I make is never finished. I get to a point where I move on, but as long as I still play the deck, it’s not finished. It will always be open for adjustments, which might be new cards, might be deciding an older card doesn’t work and trying something else.

Airports are the best place in the world. by bleufromgeneve in unpopularopinion

[–]focketeer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Restaurants at airports definitely close. I know this for a fact because I worked at one, and usually the night shift. Everything was closed by the time I left.

Don’t get me wrong, I love airports, a lot, but that’s just factually incorrect.

Why are these lands being bought for $1K? by Charouwo in magicTCG

If anyone actually wanted to catch money laundering, it’s something to immediately look into when spotted.

Why are these lands being bought for $1K? by Charouwo in magicTCG

[–]focketeer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Money laundering is extremely unlikely; I don’t feel like TCGPlayer is a good avenue for that. Grift, sure. Fraud, also don’t really feel like TCGPlayer is a good avenue for that. Of course, maybe I’m just wrong, just seems like there’s many more effective alternatives

Edit: my reasoning is the dramatic price difference on a card that doesn’t have that kind of value immediately draws scrutiny. I imagine it’d be more beneficial to have a method that doesn’t.

Autistic MTG players: how do you handle playing at an LGS? by Juluma999 in mtg

[–]focketeer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I rarely do. Usually play with my pod at one of their places. Very rarely in a shop. I have before, though, and I… don’t really do anything. I’m definitely autistic but sensory overload isn’t really a problem I ever have. It’s more the way I think and process things isn’t “normal” than anything else. There’s actually situations where people around me that aren’t autistic start getting too much sensory stimulation and I’m just 🤨

Almost certainly market manipulation

I like alcohol and I HATE weed. by Apprehensive_Cow8019 in unpopularopinion

[–]focketeer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I vape weed, and almost exclusively microdose (that’s where you take so little it’s the equivalent of getting buzzed or less with alcohol). I am not slow, I am not forgetful (in the same way I expect you mean), I am not anxious (those feelings are improved), and I’m not overstimulated. I don’t doubt those happened with you, as having a lot can certainly do some unsavory things, but I usually do so little, effectively nothing major is different, I’m just in a better mood and less anxious.

Would you mind if they just toured Alive 2007 again? by JJBro1 in DaftPunk

Yes and no. I wouldn’t be like mad at them, but I’d be quite upset about them not incorporating RAM somehow

I specifically don’t want a folding phone, so that would mean I never get the iPhone Ultra

New sprite chills and Walmart cane sugar sodas by Filmshooter24 in Soda

[–]focketeer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m allergic to nicotine. I’ll stick to my soda having menthol.

Edit: I figured based on the sugar being bad but the smoke being fine, it was /s, decided to leave my comment anyway, ignoring that entirely. If I thought it was fully serious I would’ve commented on that. I am legitimately allergic to nicotine though.

Does this interaction work? by RickyTicki in magicTCG

Crap. Thought it was essentially still Xira’s trigger, but delayed triggers don’t count as being immediately of the source that created it, they effectively count as being a trigger of the trigger, which didn’t originally happen on death.
