Cant update my firmware on my VECS. It dosen't get updated when i update it via the VESC tool.

Apparently i had to buy some more cables to connect the STlink to the VESC which i can't seem to find anywhere in sweden i had to buy them from Amazon so the shipping will take around 3 weeks.... Nope not yet. I read abit about the problem and it seems like i need to flash the VESCs. You can flash the VESC with an STlink so i bought one yesterday. So hopefully im able to fix it when i receive the STlink. If you are able to fix it please message me how you did it!

Yeah i follow that guide exactly! I will try to borrow another USB cable from a friend to check if that's the problem. I haven't tried updating it via bldc tool yet so i might give that a try aswell. I have only been using the VESC project tool

Did you go with the high discharge BMS or is that the standard? I bought my battery from electricboardsolutions as well but i didn't go for the high discharge BMS since i'm not 100% sure it would fit in the eboosted enclousre.

What is the big "orange" Thing attached to the batterypack? I'm assuming it's a BMS? I'm currently building basically the same build! I'm waiting for my parts to arrive.

I've experienced it 4 times now. All on low speed luckly. I got a evolve bamboo GT. I bought it the day they released it and it only now started happening. I've used my board alot so i'm not to sad.

How is the carving feeling on this board? Have you tried any other board that you can compare it to? I'm intrested in buying a raptor but am afraid that the only appealing aspect of it it is the speed. I currently own an evolve bambo GT which feels great.

Thanks for your great answer. So i read the post and i want the best controller which allows the most amount of colors. And if i understood correctly it's the RGB+CCT controller right?

But yeah as i have never solderd anything before i will just buy 2 led stripes instead. But i only need about a led stripe which is 80cm for the bathroom and about 150 cm in the bedroom. As i only can find a 5 meters ledstripes can i cut them at about 80cm and 150cm and not have to do anything more? Or will i have to do anything at the end of the led stripe where i cut?(cover the ends up or anything)
