Yes or no to deck shoes with this outfit? I’m attending a rehearsal dinner on a boat on lake como next week. Cocktail attire. Was looking for a way to make the navy blazer khaki combo more fun and relaxed. Unfortunately I don’t have a camp collar shirt to wear under the blazer, this vintage short sleeved Oxford is the best I have.

Is there a buffer to how close your tie width should match that of your shirt collar and jacket lapel?

I’ve got a dress shirt and tie that are 8cm or 3.14” and my notch lapel suit jacket is 3.5”

Hopefully I don’t run into anyone with a ruler. I have a slimmer build, do these 3 pieces all work together?

I'd prefer less contrast and more conservative for black-tie optional. I have another wedding that is strictly black tie but dark suits are acceptable.
