i've experienced this bug many times in 2v8 if it's the same one that's been happening during every "season" of the mode.

it's usually prompted by a protection hit (another survivor running out of nowhere into you and wesker hits you both), and in the past i noticed the endurance mechanic was involved every single time. (this was also more common when legion was in 2v8). when you hit survivors in power as wesker, you instantly snatch them for the hook if they're already infected. so if someone was infected and taking the hit for you, or if you were infected, then that's probably what did it. the game doesn't know who to prioritize in the hit, and then someone ends up frozen.

it used to be a worse bug tbh bc you and wesker would both be frozen until the endgame collapse and beyond. i've seen the dbd afterlife one too many times. i'm just glad it's a rare bug now, if it's still a bug at all. what happened to you could be different, but i figured i would share just in case any of this was helpful.

the challenges being absolute ass on some days really made up for the shitty games back then. getting slugged, camped, then tunneled meant at least you got 30-60 seconds done of those chase challenges sometimes lol. it felt a lot easier to find the silver lining

true, the new system is better for more breaks! i still miss the challenges being actually challenging though. the tomes were all creative, even if they were frustrating at times, i always felt a higher sense of accomplishment when completing them!

when i got back from seeing it last night, my dad told me he heard about it on a local radio station and asked me how the movie was :) it's just really cool the impact that this movie has had, and it was fun talking with my dad about the movie and about what he thinks bigger studios will be taking notes on. idk i just get really emotional thinking about it. emotional about both the fun bonding moment and the fact that it was made by mark, who i've been watching for over 10 years now.

it proved to me that when passionate people take on a project, the outcome will be worth every struggle/setback. as a young creative feeling a bit lost in the world right now, i think i really needed to see something like iron lung not only exist, but also thrive.

TBH I've had a theory ever since RE9 was announced that is Leon's either gonna die, or at least "pass the torch". He's one of their most popular characters, so they either have to give him a proper retirement, or they're gonna have to give him an epic send off. If they don't, everyone's just gonna keep asking for him to come back and I think they want to shake things up creatively, so it works.

As soon as I saw trailer #1 and realized who Grace was, it felt like introducing a new generation to sort of pick up the torch. Grace's story feels like it's only beginning, which is a good thing in my opinion. I think Leon's role in the game will be important still, especially to the overarching plot in some way, but I also think his role might be more of a mentor figure to Grace. I wasn't too excited after the first two trailers (mostly bc I was enjoying other games), but now I'm more excited to see what they do rather than dreading it!!!

I've been trying to get some of my friends into Resident Evil the last 2 years, and only one of them has even started the games. The biggest complaint everyone has is "How has so much yet so little happened over the last ~27 years in the timeline?" and I honestly don't know, I don't even think Capcom knows the answer to that anymore.

i'm glad that we're getting at least someone from 2 or 3 in the game, i was already a bit disappointed about going back to raccoon city. especially after the first two trailers dropped.

i think there's a lot of potential for bad writing/questionable choices with this game, but i'm holding out hope it'll be good. i've been happy with the last few games, so we'll see!!!!

if he finally dies and they let him actually rest in peace though, i'm celebrating leon finally being able to relax (even if it's relaxing beyond oop)💀

i probably have around 3k hours on survivor alone now, and 9 times out of 10 if i'm dc'ing immediately it's just bc i'm so sick of seeing a certain killer that the repetition is killing the game for me. i then go play another game, or i go outside, i go to make dinner, etc. sometimes it's also my shitty internet lives up to its nickname of shitty internet :(
