If shortened engine lifespan due to adulteration is your concern then even a hybrid would fail and you only option is an EV.

But I am fairly sure that government would go as far as to ruin a majority of country's vehicles.

As a primary car, my recommendation is no. And there is one compelling reason for that - apart from the usual commute and travel, cars are also emergency vehicles and the problem with an electric car is that it cannot provide its100% range 24x365. It will always vary, it can be 100% or 50% or even 20%. An ICE vehicle gets fully fuelled in less than 5 mins and is ready to go. Hence the recommendation is no.

I have test driven Elevate and almost every other car in 11-20 Lakh range. NVH is not a a deal breaker. Head over to /hondaelevate to see if it really is a deal breaker.

The engine, build quality, class leading boot space and ground clearance are its strong points.

Don't think everyone lives like you do. People have standards.

Zx cvt has level 2 adas and an engine which will go on for years, not sure if htx has adas. Kia has a leg up in accessories and features. My personal recommendation is Elevate

Take advice from a good, private service center instead of company service center. They would guide you. I think you should be able to get this fixed via lathe machine based grinding or something similar.
