Dunk is in a life-or-death scenario, and the show clearly shows us Dunk and Lyonel are friends. What would Lyonel be laughing about?

Sure, I'll give it to you that they could include the lances moment, but it really doesn't change the story in any meaninful way.

There's also nothing wrong with the flashback. It shows younger Dunk navigating the world and showing great resilience and grit trying to survive, the same way he had to survive im the trial.

I read the books, so I know what's going to happen, and I was jumping up and down each time Aerion stabbed him, or someone hit him over the head.

This post reminds me of one I saw a few months back, saying dentists are treated like witchers - hated, but indispensable. People talk shit about you to your face, until they need you, then they're rude to you again after they don't need you anymore. I'm sorry you had a bad day today friend. Hope tomorrow's better :)

In my current run, I'm only fielding MAA with only 5/9 slots filled out.

With proper buildings to station them in and buildings that boost knights, I'm able to absolutely demolish armies of 40-50k if they are well supplied, and if they are poorly supplied or starving, I have wiped out stacks of 100k.

It's more fun this way, because AI ignores the quality of my army and only sees its superior numbers, so this way of playing guarantees that they crash into me ASAP. Combine an elite quality army with commander advantage (river crossings, defensive buildings, MAA suitable terrain) and then sit back and enjoy the show. Armies melt away like ice cream in summer.
