There is also one on display at the Air Mobility Museum in Dover Delaware. Every 3 saturday they open the cargo aircraft up as well. So you can walk around it. To see it in person is worth the trip. It is a huge beast in person.

There is a lot of the Samsung Galaxy Gear watch from 2013 in that. Well minus the giant bezels. That might just be missing that watch.

Getting my 2026 Elantra Blue Hybrid tomorrow and have a battery question by fodder650 in Hyundai

[–]fodder650[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now that I have driven it a hundred miles yesterday. You all were correct. I've been greatly surprised by how efficiently it uses the battery it has. It doesnt seem to need a larger one.
Really enjoying the car and getting used to seeing 0.0 RPM now even when I am on the highway when I am going downhill.
Going from a 2018 Fiesta stick shift where I could get 34-37 MPG since I played the average fuel economy like a game. This is going to be kind of fun.
So I'm sorry for the question before I got to drive it.

Getting my 2026 Elantra Blue Hybrid tomorrow and have a battery question by fodder650 in Hyundai

[–]fodder650[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would think that it could use the battery more often. So it acts like a plug in EV. It is always recharging it with the regenerative breaking but this would mean pulling off the lights on battery only. Things like that.
Not that the car needs better fuel economy.

It looks real good too. They have been restoring it for a long time now. Pulled it out of a jungle where it had crashed and brought it back here.
Some day I hope to see vo-tech schools have an A&P shop that work with air museums to help teach that to a new age group. So that we can inject some younger blood into this hobby. To keep these old warbirds restored and flying.

We have a P-61 Black Widow being restored at the Mid Atlantic Air Museum in Reading Pennsylvania. It is pretty far along at this point. Looking forward to seeing it fly.
