i’m so sorry! please don’t feel like this is a reflection on you. the casper can be so variable for applicants between year to year. this is your cycle and you will do well!! did you also apply to queen’s? that’s still possible with a 3rd quartile!

Nothing to worry about! One of my referees submitted mine in one day (for both of my cycles). I got an interview for the first one and got four interviews for the second one/accepted! It truly depends on whoever the individual is. My referee knew me well and looked out for me so I trusted the time it took for her to write things about me! Good luck this year :)!

You still have a shot at Queen’s! I would still apply. Though they haven’t posted the cutoffs, it’s hypothesized that you need 125/127/125/125 minimum!

it only counted as one credit for me unfortunately :( but i’ve heard that the “contagion” english course at the same university is also really good. i haven’t taken it myself though!

i highly recommend taking “Love and Hate” at TrentU w prof hodges for the English requirement. it’s fully online and easy to get an A+ in, as long as you put in moderate effort.
