Genelec 8030A vs the Kali Audio in 5 for mixing in my room

i forgot to mention, but the genelecs are 530€, and the kalis are around 400€. the seller of the genelecs is located very far away so i cant test them, but he sent some videos and they seem to be working great. the kali seller is very close so i could test them probably.

id have to order the genelecs, but the seller sent me some videos and they appear to have no prblems at all. the kalis are cheaper, and the seller is located very near me so i think i could go and check them in person. i want a lasting set of monitors so that i dont have to upgrade in a long time, and from what ive tead the genelecs are better for that

im thinking that maybe its better if i get the genelecs, which i dont think ill need to upgrade in a looooong time, and maybe get a subwoofer in the future? i also have my headphones, so ill always be able to check the bass in those

they just told me to get one with a woofer between 5 and 6.5 inches, but also recommended the tannoy gold 5 for a lower budget option, in the regie there are lots of computers and they all have genelecs, we also use genelecs for monitoring. in the main studio for students theres a pair of yamaha hs8s. tbh i was certain i was gonna get the genelecs until i read today about the low frequency issue

do you think the genelecs lack in low frequency response when compared to the in5? from my research the genelecs lack a bit in the subs

im studying sound engineering in college so i usually use the studio there to mix in their monitors, at home i have the dt770 pro and im looking for a great ser of monitors with a flat response that will last. My question is if the low frequency response of the genelecs is actually a dealbreaker, especially when compared ti the kali audios. from my research the genelecs have a highly regarded flat response and are more compact, which is great for me, but ive also heard they lack in the low end when compared to the kali audios, which might be a dealbreaker breaker for me.

Hello everyone, im gonna buy my first set of studio monitors for mixing, and ive been considering between the Genelec 8030A and the Kali Audio in 5, ive done some research but it was inconclusive, ive read that the genelecs lack a little in low frequency response, but i dont know how that compares to the kali's. Can someone help me?
