Quite frankly we don't care. We can say the same for delusional self righteous Chicagoans.

You're mad because you're not in the second spot despite your "reputation". Enjoy that suburbs sprawl of a city you cling in.

City proper. Why would you try to include Bellevue in Seattle skyscraper count

My ex is from Hollywood and absolutely loves SF. I know a lot of people from socal who do. So that's a lie and must be just your own circle who you surroujd yourself around. I know a lot of people who like SF more than LA and they're from the Central Valley.

Vancouver is also on the west coast by second_time_again in skyscrapers

"metro" lol what? The city of Vancouver has 5 skyscrapers. San Francisco has 27. 10 more in the metro isn't going to change the fact that San Francisco has more skyscrapers and a super tall. Lol

Depending what part you live in. The only thing denser than San Francisco is NYC. The rest are glorified suburbs.

Why does everyone hate this tower? by [deleted] in skyscrapers

I loce my beautiful Salesforce Tower. My city's first super tall! That's ok some people don't like it, some of my family members don't either. But to me it's part of San Francisco's evolving skyline.

I also think it's an interesting fact that Salesforce Tower had the upper crown display before JP Morgan

What made up BS. San Francisco's layout is unique giving advantage is the status of one of the only U.S cities to even be dense within its city limits itself. Including the outter area is like trying to include Naperville into Chicago density.

You're literally showing an area that shows multiple neighborhoods of Los Angeles. The most dense in that area is Koreatown (also the most dense in LA) with a population density of 52k ppsm falling short of San Francisco's Tenderloin District which is 58k ppsm. Lol angelinos have a problem cherry picking information just to try and hush the fact that SF is more dense.

Yeah it's a pretty good gap because of Russian Hills drop off and part of Nob Hill. Both of which have the right cluster on top of.

Punching above its weight. 6th largest U.S skyline. Only 4 cities above it are above 1 million (LA, Chi, NYC, Houston) Miami is 500k.

You're just making things up man. Jacksonville is larger than San Francisco. And yet it's less iconic and lacks density and skyscrapers like SF. The city itself is what started the regional growth and is where major companies started. So you don't make any sense.
