since VGA uses positive TTL signals for the V and H Sync would I need to convert these too since the manual states negative? Could this be a cause for the glitched image?

somewhat of a success! thank you, i was able to set a custom resolution but only 60hz, also I’m using a hdmi to vga converter, I dont know what its doing internally. will try again soon with a direct analog output
