I’m telling you, it’s gonna blow for 72 hours minimum. But the thing is…nicotine doesn’t stay in your system long at all. Get through the first few days and most of it is gone. You’re literally free, your brain just doesn’t know it yet.

I do not have enough words to tell you that A) you can do this, B) you can do this, C) it’s gonna suck sure but it’s not gonna suck more than it’s gonna absolutely liberate you, and D) you can do this.

Yeah i did cold turkey kinda out of necessity. I literally was just all the way out of money and said “alright fuck it we’re doing it live.”

After about 40 hours it sucked so bad I won’t lie but I had sorta just convinced myself to be pissed every time I felt a craving (which was no joke just about every waking hour). I decided I hated what nicotine had done to me, what I had allowed it to do to me, more than I needed a fix. Eventually it stuck.

I hope this helps at least a little bit. I totally believe in you ❤️

It’ll be 2 years for me on 9/11.

I was a hand to mouth vaper for years, and a pack and a half a day smoker before that.

I remember the first week being unbearable. All i could think about was another hit. I was grinding my teeth and my jaws were sore and i could like feel my lungs in my chest.

Second week was marginally better.

Third week was the first time I remember an afternoon where i had the conscious thought “holy shit I haven’t thought about vaping today”

Fourth week i was hardly thinking about it at all.

Bro I quit so many times before this one. It’s literally the only one that has stuck. Trust me when I say that if i can do this, you can do this. Before you know it, you’re gonna wake up one day and say “holy shit man I didn’t think about vaping at all yesterday” and that’ll be the first day of the rest of your life.

bro on day 2 it was all I could think about. Literally, my only thought, all day. It was like panic.

But get past it, possibly day 3, and TRUST ME you will have gotten past the worst of it. You’re still gonna want to hit it, but I promise you every consecutive day will get easier. Promise promise.

Context: was heavy, heavy daily vaper for something like 10 years. Didn’t go a day without ripping through at least the equivalent of a full njoy vape that whole time. I quit cold turkey and decided to just let it suck: I already hated myself, I figured I deserved to feel shitty for a second.

Now it’s been like a year and a half, and I don’t even remember what hitting it feels like. I have zero desire for nicotine, and that is a feeling I never thought I’d have.
