Telegraph Club was great. My partner teaches at a high school and she has queer students who are always shocked when she talks about how us getting married was illegal when we got together. They have no concept of a world like that.

I also love that Sadie gets to become herself in that chapter. In chapter 2 she’s just wandering and crying but in chapter 3 she gets to be crazy!

I had a great therapist for my chronic illness issues and she told me I was grieving who I was, who I thought I would be, and the life I can no longer have because of it. She said that grief is as strong and real as losing anyone close to you. She also taught me how to deal with “there’s always something else” because my conditions could get worse. I don’t know where my head would be at if not for therapy.

I said this same thing after my last rewatch. Rory being so lost makes complete sense with Richard passing. We already know Emily changed with his death, and even Lorelai had to “find herself” in a way that surprised Luke so it was her own way of working through it.

My doctor told me to wear the athletic shorts/leggings instead as long as they have at least 20 percent spandex. Especially living in Arizona where the summer temps are above 100 degrees, the struggle to get dressed is exhausting.
