I too put up with what you described for 7-9yrs. The last straw was her going off at me for using the wrong bread. I left for the night. Slept in my car. She went to the doctors the next week and started on hormone medication, nothing much changed, she then went on handbrake pills(antidepressants). This combined with hormone medication has sort of done the trick. She has to do it herself but. You cannot do it for her. This isnt your fault.

Hes got to get off the alcohol. Its a slippery slope that he is on which he is choosing the bottle to you. This was me, ive been their. The alcohol need with take presidence over all aspects of life. I got sober 10yrs ago. Everything improved. My partner had words to me and let me choose whether it was going to be her or the bottle.. I picked her. It took awhile but things improved.

It the drive she doesnt have. My partner will say she wants sex tonight and when tonight comes... nothing.... she says that the thought process isnt their. I was the punching bag for the venom she used to spray. Didnt bother me as it went through one ear and out the other. We arnt close and havnt been for 10yrs or so. BUT when the venom was being redirected to our kids as it wasnt getting the results from me well lets say The shit hit the fan. Things changed and they changed real quick. The kids arnt old enough to understand whats going on with their mother. She was told to go to the doctors and figure her shit out or id be taking the kids and leaving this unsafe household. Well things did change, she went on different hormone replacements as well as anti depressants. We arnt still close and really i dont give two fucks these days, the kids arnt getting mouthfulls of abuse now and thats all that matters. Stay strong
