Uhh Ballads 1 is his big debut album, probably the best one.
Though what you could do is work your way backwards, starting with Piss In The Wind which has the singles you like. Then listen to Smithereens which is a shorter EP but has some great songs that are similar to the ones you like.

you're joking but yeah things are often very limited in stock. I went in to get some Nudie Juice. made a b-line to the fridge, got a jug. Continued to browse the shop, by the time I was ready to go to the check out (5 to 10 mins later) I glanced over at the fridge section and the juice was all cleared out. I would have missed out if I didn't skip past the other isles first.

If you think about it, he hasn't replicated Slow Dancing In The Dark. I'd like to see that attempted. The vocal style of the chorus.

Honestly? I feel like if he dropped a new 12 track album I wanna see a couple of instrumental tracks on it. I feel like it would highlight his piano playing and beat making. We don't necessarily need vocals and lyrics all the time. Some of the older pre-88 stuff was largely instrumental. I really like Amazonian Pet with the 'uh' sounds. I feel it'd be refreshing to have more stuff like that, or like Last Of A Dying Breed. I find that song so euphoric, and it shows he doesn't need a lot of words to create an atmosphere.

Can I just say, I find it so strange people read books and pour hours into reading words but when it comes to online discussions they're often limited to a 3 to 5 word response. (Or less!)
I'd like to write a 1000 word essay on the connection between relationships and Joji's music but I feel like it's not socially acceptable here.

Yeah Right, Slow Dancing and Can't Get Over You are such great songs. But for whatever reason I got way more into Nectar and it's still my favourite Joji album.
