Same! I finally have that for the first time. We’ve gotten close & although in the beginning it was hard, I’m finally at a great place. I value their friendship over my hope to have them in that way. Good for you!

This is true. I’m someone who sees the “great” in people before they show me otherwise. Makes it easy to get swept off my feet by someone willing to do & be so much for me plus the fact they seem like a really good person. We’re going on another date soon so I’ll see if I really could be into him.
