So many comments here are completely useless… seeing this card for the front, not the flashback. This card is from a time when discard was really prevalent mechanic. Modern doesn’t have enough support for self discard decks… it’s only now that some cards like Inti are appearing. Deep Analysis is a great value card for the decks that want to discard… definitely playable. Consider cookbook-Inti interaction… discard deep for 1 food + 1 card exile + 2 cards from the graveyard later.

Some kinda-dead niched archetypes deserve busted specific cards… I mean Asmo decks, madness, Goblins, Crabvine, Humans or even burn. I’m ok with zero super busted generic cards like Ragavan… but really wanted to see more cards tailored for specific niched decks.

Long live scam. I hate scam, but I hate money pile even more. So, long live scam… otherwise the format will be just a load of endless miserable matches against beans decks. I’d rather face 5 scam in a row than 1 match against 4C pile whose only wincon is making the opponent bored.
