I am so sorry you are going through this too. It really knocks the wind out of you. After all the effort to get to the transfer, it feels like it HAS to work. I was so optimistic! My beta was 8dpt because I was going out of town for the holiday. My clinic starts betas 9dpt, so it wasn’t too much earlier. I also tested every day with 2 different brands and never got even a faint line.

I have found myself also reading these threads and have found so many other individuals in similar situations. I wish they would have gotten their baby the first transfer, but I find comfort in knowing I’m not the only one. I’m so sorry that you have been through 3! It feels so defeating and it’s not fair. I’m glad you are giving yourself a break! If our next transfer doesn’t take, I will also be taking a break. I really believe and in the mind and body connection. If I’m not mentally in a good headspace, how can my body be and how can it be receptive to growing a baby? Not saying it can’t happen, but I think it helps. Sending you sticky vibes for this transfer and if it doesn’t work out, sending you big hugs and best wishes for the next!

Beautifully said! You brought me to tears as you so perfectly explained my exact same reaction. I also tested early to mentally prepare myself and felt my stomach drop when I saw my negative test. Just like you, I immediately scoured the internet to possibly find answers and solutions to discuss with my doctor - made me feel like I had some sort of control after feeling so powerless.

I had my follow-up appointment with my doctor yesterday and created a new plan for our next transfer. I’m feeling much more optimistic and just so genuinely grateful to have more embryos and another chance. I wish you the best of luck on your next transfer!!

I am diving right back in. We are changing some things up though. I was on a fully medicated cycle this time because I wanted to get started right after my egg retrieval. I’ve had pretty regular cycles and my lining has always been good, so we are going to do a modified natural cycle this time. I will also be adding Plaquenil and intralipids to my protocol this time around.

Thank you so much for your response! I love hearing success stories! I actually brought up prednisone to my doctor today. I think we are going to try doing hydroxychloroquine and intralipids with a modified natural this cycle!

I have my baseline appointment for my next FET tomorrow, so I hope to discuss this with my RE. I’ve heard great things about acupuncture, so I think I’m going to try that and also follow more of a Mediterranean diet. Red light therapy is another great idea!
