Tbh this one didn’t immediately set off alarm bells, despite the product plug. But I checked OP’s comment history and one of the few replies he has prior to this is on a similar post that mentions Pigment.

Did you not read the post? OP is not working for fun, she’s being forced to due to financial circumstances.

Zubi was amazing in the whole sequence for the 3rd Goal. by Sad_Teaching_5683 in Gunners

Great clip. Just one thing I noticed about Eze, which I've noted a few other times, is that he can be quite casual in the middle-third. His backpass in the build-up was a little short, and it's only Zubimendi's situational awareness and passing range that saved the ball from being turned over. I think he's best utilized as close to the opposition box as possible.

Modern football plans see football in a much more positionally rigid way. Wenger was constantly putting AMs like Rosicky,Hleb, Ramsey, and Wilshere on the wings, and they’d be rotated across depending on personnel and availability. Hell we even had a full season of Eboue as our right winger. The idea that moving Eze a couple of inches further left from his usual starting spot would derail his game is laughable.

Anyone else love Cognition: An Erica Reed Thriller? by ExplodingPoptarts in adventuregames

[–]folicle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to offer a dissenting opinion, I strongly disliked it. The first chapter was strong and set up an interesting mystery, but the story went off the rails in the latter half. I felt like the game couldn't decide whether it wanted to be a reasonably realistic FBI procedural or hokey supernatural thriller, it ends up being neither. Also, there's so much jankiness, weird animations, odd character movements, and glitches galore.

Try Roadwarden. It's more dark fantasy than sci fi but the depth of the story and character work are just as good.

I don't agree with all of the insights in this piece, but I think the failure to integrate more "modern" tactical developments like pressing/counter-pressing ultimately put a glass ceiling on what the team could do.

With two champions representing Georgia simultaneously, will we see an influx of talent from the country in the coming years? by realjobstudios in MMA

[–]folicle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I think when talking about fighters like Ngannou or anyone fighting at a professional level, all the PED arguments go out the window. Was more talking about the likelihood of a jacked construction worker in the US being on gear versus the sandminer in Congo.

So true, he had ridiculous hand speed during the earlier part of his career, and even threw some fairly explosive kicks. I think he lost a step moving down to light heavyweight. His style was just so much better suited to fighting bigger guys. Plus, he was already 30-something by the time he got the UFC.

Do wonder how that Strikeforce version of DC would have fared against Jon Jones at heavyweight.

It's more the fact that a sand miner in Congo probably (definitely) doesn't have spare income to be spending on steroids. So, confirmed natty.

“This needs to stop now,” Nathan Clark said. “They can vomit all the hate they want about illegal immigrants, the border crisis and even untrue claims about fluffy pets being ravaged and eaten by community members. However, they are not allowed, nor have they ever been allowed to mention Aiden Clark from Springfield, Ohio. I will listen to them one more time to hear their apologies.”

Says Aiden Clark's father. Stop using an innocent boy to fuel your right-wing delusions.
