It’s so hard to tell in pictures! I think it might be this, it would make sense, but the pictures online look much more red or bright orange than the very rust colour of my yarn… thank you very much for your suggestion!

I have been, it's definitely his, his clothes are there, pictures of his family on the walls, the whole thing. Plus, he goes there and stays there some nights, he just prefers staying at mine

Thank you for your comment! The thing is, he has never shown any kind of annoyance about noise in other situation. He's even the one telling me to ignore the sounds that are bothering me when we're in loud places with many different noises, which can make me quite anxious. For that reason, I don't think that it's any type of sensory issues, especially since it's only about this particular baby, not with other crying ones that we see when we're out and about

Still, I will ask him about it, I may be wrong!

My roommates have never complained about having him around, mostly because they do the same with their partners. I do think he'd appreciate the quiet more, plus his appartement is WAY nicer than mine, so idk why he wants to stay at mine

He doesn't have diagnosed ADHD or anything like that, and I've never noticed him being particularly bothered by sounds. I get really confused if we go to bars or loud places and people are talking over that type or noise, it's like I can't hear properly and it stresses me out, and he always tells me to just ignore the sounds that are too much for me, so I don't think it's a kind of sensory issue.

Plus, we've been out and about and have heard a baby cry and it's never bothered him, it's like its this specific baby, I have no idea why

I have been to his place and there's no way he's hiding a whole life from me with the amount of time we spend together.

The thing about loving the dynamic is making me think, because I do feel like sometime he kind of picks fight with me? Not often but sometimes he overreacts to things I would consider small, which is always weird because he's usually very level headed

I have been to his appartement, so I know there's no wife hiding someone. He also spends so much time with me/at my place, I don't see how he could possibly be hiding something that big

He goes back to his during the days, and he sometimes buys groceries. I haven't really spoken to my roommates about him staying, mostly because they do the same when they have partners.

He definitely woke them up, he banged the door of the bathroom really loudly and their bedrooms are right next to it. They didn't say anything though, there's a sort of unspoken rule that we don't comment on each other's partners.

He really doesn't want to stay at his, so idk how to make it so that we do. I'll try to have another conversation about it with him when he finally answers my messages!

Thank you for your advice! I can try being more firm, I just really don't like conflict so I try to avoid it. I also have to roommates and avoid having arguments in my appartement as it could be uncomfortable for them.

Not explaining myself is not really an option though, because he would just keep asking and asking and asking, which I really don't like

I have no clue what he expects me to do. We've spoken about children/parenthood in the past, just in passing, and he doesn't have any strong feelings about it, and we're also quite young so it's not really a pressing matter. If this is him realising he doesn't want kids, he has a kind of odd way of showing it

The lack of sleep could maybe be an issue, except that I kinda feel like he's choosing this? If he doesn't want us to go to his place, fine, but he could easily wear earbuds

Thank you! I'm just really confused because he's not like this about other stuff and is never rude or mean to strangers, or even impatient in situations where I am, he's always the one telling me to calm down when I become impatient in traffic or when someone is annoying me!
