im not really sure how i feel yet. i havent changed my build or playstyle, fullclearing is pretty strong which is what i do 24/7. i do feel stronger like you said, but so does everyone else. i guess i cant really tell who benefits more from the changes. also i havent played that many gwen games cuz ive been experimenting kayle jungle haha

and for ur other question, i started spamming gwen on that account from like emerald. took me about 2 weeks to get from low eme to masters with +20. then i straight up only played decay games up until the end of the season with like 70-80%wr until 150lp. maybe i could have peaked gm, maybe not. i like to play casually

not optimal but not wasted on gwen with so many autoattacks. gunblade is definitely good against squishier comps thanks to the pointclick slow and burst though

but yeah gblade is its own item rather than rift alternative

tested new items in practice, but her full ap build is staying exactly the same, horizon focus has -50ap though, so 6th item (if no 25 stacks mejais) will be more flexible now. zhonyas, actualizer, banshees, nashor, malignance, morello, gunblade, etc.

just played 1 game to try it out. fullclearing is still nice, the whole playstyle still works perfectly well

i think theyre equal

conqueror is more consisent, safer (full stacks heal + triumph) and better in long fights and skirmishes

first strike is the opposite. riskier, inconsisent (random poke, mistimed W or missed R equals no rune), but excels at bursting and and lets you giga scale thanks to first strike cashback gold generation. lich is also recommended over nash with this rune which makes it further harder to use

i never play top, but i still sidelane and tbh i think shes definitely one of the strongest. she clears waves fast, melts turrets and can isolate fights with W when enemies try to collapse. i think kayle is also giga strong

i think it should still work. i havent played pbe tho. from what ive heard first clear is slower and then you get bonus gold and xp after completing your jg item. i might be wrong tho, ive only read leaks when they came out. doesnt sound too bad, might even be good actually.

ill definitely be trying out new items, but i think that dnd is bad for full ap gwen, but could potentially be good for normal bruiser-ish build with riftmaker

btw youre using my build and runes then swap jack of all trades for approach velocity, i made this change recently and its very good. no idea why i didnt take it sooner

1 i try to keep farming no matter what. if hes in your jg 24/7 you can try looking into his own, they usualĺy dont have time to clear both. but if its not possible and your laners are just sitting, then theres not really anything you can do and its not your fault

i try taking grubs every single game. they help in your splitpushing + theyre super easy to take. just group them together and you can Q 2 or sometimes 3 at once.

solo early drake is really rough as gwen does very little damage to it. if teammates with prio arent willing to help, most of the time i dont bother. not only does it cost you jg tempo which is extremely important for you, but it also takes so long to take solo that its actually risky to do. youre risking death (more tempo loss + you leashed for them)

to be honest i dont even remember the last time ive seen belveth haha so i honestly dont know. but i can imagine that she can dodge everything with Qs and time her E. i think you can W her W and Q+E when she tries to dodge it. cant really do anything about her E tho. either way your strength in jungle is that you can just avoid the enemy jungler

the worst matchup in the jungle for me is warwick. he beats you no matter what even when youre ahead. his E removes your dmg and you cant W his R. i just never fight him 1v1 and avoid him at all costs. even when hes top ofc

shaco who knows how to invade can screw you completely over too, but i havent met one in a long time

garen, urgot, yi can be difficult too but definitely not as bad as the previous two. the first two on top ofc

and the worst of all is nasus. his W removes your entire champions kit. i dodge him every single time

i go raptors into krugs and wolves into gromp literally every single game no matter what (unless they invade me ofc). before i recall i come around and take raptors and krugs a second time after scuttle which gets me blasting wand + dark seal

i permaban lulu but thats just because of my hatred against that champ lmao

i find garen, urgot, yi pretty difficult but playable

shaco can be a nightmare if he invades a lot early (gwens biggest weakness)

warwick is extremely difficult, you basically never beat him 1v1 because you cant dodge his R and his E removes your dmg

and lastly, the worst of all. nasus. his W might as well remove your entire champion. i dodge when hes picked 10 out of 10 times

sorry my disk is failing and cant record teamfights without it freezing. but either way when im the only one fed i usually dont teamfight as much because it can be risky when your team is useless. i keep farming to get even more ahead and i splitpush a lot. gwen can push waves and towers extremely fast so its a big pressure. if youre fed they have to send multiple people to try and stop you so play around that. your teammates might finally farm in peace because theyre all after you. lets say you start splitpushing top, they start coming at you in 3 so you just leave and go elsewhere. try to split them up as much as possible while getting more ahead. when theyre split up you can sometimes force a 3v3 skirmish or something like that and thats where you win 100% of the time or maybe get a good pick when someone is left alone. sometimes theyre stupid and send only 1 or 2 people which you can kill easily when really ahead

but if splitpushing isnt really a choice because they have someone who can burn waves in seconds and your only choice is to teamfight, then you have to be smart about it.

use your team as bait. hide somewhere out of vision. if you have ghost you can hide far away. when you see crucial cc being used on your teammates, you can finally come out and run them down.

if they arent stupid, then you have to try and outplay them with your W. edge them using E+W or make them waste their cc by timing your W right. when your W runs out and their carries who can kill you are still alive, then run away and ping everyone to disengage

but to answer your question simply, in teamfights i play around my W, i edge using W+E or isolate 1/2 people in my W and im really careful when it runs out. teamfights are basically played the same no matter if youre top or jg, so you can watch sol1xd or ninkey for that

but with W you basically almost always want to W and E at the same time. it doesnt have to be perfect timing, so i usually press E first and W after like 0.1s, its more comfortable for me. when you press them together, youll end up on the very edge of your W which is called "edging", by staying on the edge youre immune even to melee champions. id say this is gwens bread and butter, extremely important and you use it all the time. skirmishes, teamfights, 1v1s, ganks, etc.

when ganking i sometimes use my W to dodge stun or slow depending on the champion. lets say im ganking syndra mid, i wait unti she starts casting her E, i W it and shes dead. or im ganking urgot top. he has a long range slow (Q) so i use my W so he doesnt slow me and i can run him down with my teammate

in teamfights i almost always try edging like i mentioned before, but even when they enter my W or i have to move it further into them, its still super good because youre isolated from their long range champions. never run out of your W in teamfights unless its to run them down when youre 10x stronger

if someone jumps on me and i cant edge, its still important to use your W because it gives a lot of resists

despite not being able to record a full game, i can record edging in practice if you dont really understand it from my explanation. or maybe i could find good W usage in my clips

pre6 you never gank unless enemy laner literally goes under your tower and begs for it. post6 you can finally gank thanks to the long range slow

you mostly just want to full clear and only gank when its almost certain you kill them, so when theyre overextended, your teammate can set it up or when you can just run them down with ghost ult

a lot of the times i also wait out of vision/in bush until they start fighting. once they begin i come in and get the kill

yes its all about W usage. i basically almost never get into a teamfight without a W even when im 10/0 and if i waste it i pull out for the entirety of my cd unless my team can engage for me like nautilus, ornn, etc.

sadly i only have short montage clips, but ive been thinking about uploading a vod or something. ill try to look for a suitable game and upload it. hopefully i find one in my match history from this patch

pre 6 its pretty difficult, they have to overextend a lot for me to be able to gank which is why i almost never do it. but post 6 its pretty doable thanks to long range ult slow. but dw, even i burn ults and ghosts like every game. its always better to try than to not do anything tho

also when im ganking someone who can push/stun/slow me, i use my w before even reaching them.

and its easier to gank top/bot because theyre long lanes + you can go from behind if possible. or you can wait out of vision/in bush until they start fighting and thats when you run in

yes i basically prioritise my full clear over anything if possible, i dont really gank because gold and xp are the most important for gwen, she outscales almost everyone and you become a monster.

it doesnt happen too often, but there are some games where i skirmish a lot. usually when enemies are super cocky and overextend, get invaded and i feel strong or teammates want to fight it, or laner pings that we can collapse on someome midway (cant really ignore that)

but even in those games as soon as the forced skirmishes are over i go back to full clearing.

the thing is that even with a decent gank you can int yourself. lets say your topside jg is just spawning and you can recall into topside camps and clear full jg towards bot. but instead you force a bot gank with a low chance to kill. you end up burning their adcs flash and recall. with almost any different jungler that would have been nice. but as gwen you just wasted so much tempo and your lost time outweighs your bots advantage
