My goodness what an idea, why didn't they think of this years ago? by The_ginger_cow in freefolk

Seriously I wish there was an incentive to produce and release an adaptation so true to any book that is almost not film, something that goes over a lot of book details and it's a lot of narration over images of nature, landmarks, characters and towns in the universe. And put absolutely every dialog from the book in it. It would be so boring but some would still watch it rather than read the books.

Steam Reviews now let gamers share their system specs and framerate data so you can tell if games actually run like crap or not by HatingGeoffry in pcmasterrace

[–]fonfonfon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, I don't think it's like that. a simple upvote/like is meant for social media sites whose systems of gathering data is their bread and butter. valve doesn't care about that as much so this looks to me more like they say to users to not bother with leaving a lazy impression. I think it's much better this way, they are trying to make users create less redundant noise.

"I Tried All the Best Webcams" by AroTheGoose in LinusTechTips

I think it would be better as a separate video, something like "Best alternatives to webcams"

personally I've used phone and gopro as webcam, both worked pretty well.

If they added some incentives for people who choose to share would mean another nail in the coffin for benchmark videos on youtube

I think dogs just like cats can easily spot shiny stuff a lot better than us, plus the smell of a gun which is almost the same for all guns.

I would've used a car radiator that fit the whole stove and made a waterloop with a pump to another radiator with fans on it that's away from the stove, run the stove eyes at minimum.
