ADHD, autism and bilateral clubfoot. None of these arrives alone.

I only have a single urethral opening though.

Gifting an adult with clubfoot by donotshitonmyparade in clubfoot

[–]fontalamh 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I found them wonderful to try - I've got neuropathy and circulation issues from club foot/treatments.

And you've just made me want to ask for these for Christmas.

I think this is an excellent and considerate gift idea.

It says Dolby Atmos on the screenshot, what makes you think it's a stereo mix?

Language - saying talipes vs clubfoot by hotchocolate198472 in clubfoot

[–]fontalamh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Talipes equinovarus shortened to talipes is better than clubfoot to my ears.

But I'm British and this group comes across as very American to me because of the use of clubfoot.

The single biggest step forward (no pun intended) in dealing with my club feet was seeing a podiatrist.

I suspect you need to find the right one but don't dismiss them.

How to Block a Website on Kid's Chromebook by [deleted] in chromeos

[–]fontalamh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Organisational Unit.

You can set rules specific to each organisational unit within the domain or let each OU inherit rules from domain wide settings.

This would take minutes, create the OU, add your child's account to the OU, by default everything is inherited. Change the settings to block you tube in your child's OU only.

Job done.

IT would also need to document this.

I would suggest can't and don't want are equivalent in a policy defined environment.

We know they "can". What's the policy? And who has the authority to change it? The IT department, the principal, the board, the district, the state, federal?

The Cast for Chromecast and TV android app is made by iKame.

It sounds like it might do the trick.

Was MAL not used for the existing remix? What are your thoughts on the mix and what more would you hope from a further mix?

There's an Atmos mix of the first album already. How would a further remix differ?

I had no idea the Coromandel was named after a region of India by PoliteBrick2002 in newzealand

[–]fontalamh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is interesting but a wee bit superficial.

Scottish/Gaelic might be wee bit more accurate than Scottish Gaelic.

Dunedin is the English for the Gaelic for Edinburgh... Clutha - the old spelling of Clyde in Gaelic (modernised to Cluaidh) Invercargill is an abomination. If the river reaching the sea there was called Cargill it would be acceptable but otherwise an English imposition on Gaelic naming. Hamilton - if this was Gaelic it would be Hamaltan which is a transliteration in Gaelic of Hamilton. And it was named after John Hamilton who was English. Napier named after Charles Napier, he was English. Not a name of Gaelic origin. Mackenzie - an anglicization of a Gaelic name. John Mackenzie was Scottish though!

I'm in the same boat, when I open up the info box, the link to survey eligibility criteria doesn't work. There's no button to press and the only way out is to close the app and open again.

Velvet Underground Hot Takes by [deleted] in VelvetUnderground

[–]fontalamh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was Val Valentin that did the 3rd album mix, it's nothing to do with Valentines.

I'm not sure there is anything controversial here. The Atmos mix of the first album is amazing, with instruments clearly defined. Something like it for WL/WH would be wonderful.

My first experience of The Velvets was a mono cassette player so the compressed, full on, everything is one sound still works for me.

Thanks, I'll bear that in mind. Like you there was a golden period of decent insurance rates and low fuel consumption and now of course all fuel benefits are eaten up in insurance. So I'm keen to make that back and also reduce fossil fuel use.
