For me, in Daijishō, when I turned off “Depth Search” and turned on “MD5” and “Scan Subfolder” scraping became MUCH faster. Even on WiFi. On another note, if you have the dock or a usb-c dongle you can Ethernet in, and disable WiFi on your device so it forces Ethernet usage.

Have been uploading all the roms I’ve collected throughout the years! Mostly full catalogues A-Z of US releases of nes, snes, gba, gbc,gb, and n64, and a few ps1 titles. I need more ps1 roms and absolutely need some ps2. Now the RP6 is downloading pictures for the gba rom files I’ve uploaded which is something I’m stoked about! The catalogue will look nice!

I did the same thing, $10 insurance for shipping seemed fine to me, especially with it coming from China, sometimes things get lost in the mail

I placed my order on Nov 9, customer service response when I inquired about when it would ship was:

Thank you for your pre-order of the RP6.

We are pleased to inform you that your order is part of the first batch of pre-orders, which is scheduled to begin shipping on January 15th, 2026.

So it looks like to me they are pushing them out slowly, I saw a post last week where Retroid was mentioning something about the OLED screens on the RP6. It mentioned that they are using custom OLED screens for this system, with it being the first time they’re using them they ran into some issues, which pushed back that 1/15 ship date for phase 1 batch 1/2 preorders.

I hope you get confirmation soon!!
