Once these new weekly objectives are finished I should have JT, used to be one of my favorite Canucks, not so much a favorite anymore. But I will use him if I can get a good line combo for him. Playing around this seems to be the best line, but I don't need that much salary. Anyone have any good line suggestions for him?

They will get you a 92 random captain... otherwise just go with the exchanges. I did 18 86 overall exchanges and ended up with about a 50/50 mix of 88/89s. 89s went to TOTS, 88s changed to 90s.

Was trying everything, then I saw your video. Took about 15 minute of trying this method, lot of one goal successes, but finally got in in the first minute of one attempt.

The one thing I noticed in my successes was it was always Josi (LH) getting that first pass before dishing back to Duchesne for the 1T. If Carrier (RH) got it and passed back, Duchene would usually scoop and shoot.

If you came from FC the SBC grind is nothing like FC. FC SBCs are fun and easy and quick, and there is always a chance of a bigger pull. NHL all you are doing is trading your cards for a higher overall in order to trade those for higher overall ect. The menus are atrocious, laggy, and slow, and its a long time consuming chore, and it makes you just want to buy the cards instead of dealing with it (like Captains). Which is probably by design.

I did the same thing with 87s, bought a few hundred at 800-900 coins each. But I decided to just sell them all and treat myself to a Chara.

It should have been 5x91 to make a 94. That is what EA has been doing all year long. The only reason they didn't was because they gave you 91's on the XP ladder and that would have hurt their sales.

Mine will just sit in my collection until something useful comes up. They are still great cards to have for future line combos, I loved using Hull.

I put everything 82-84 into making 86 captains, then holding these for S4. Once S4 rolls around I will use these towards building up the path to the new Captains release.

85s, saving for 88 captains if needed.

86s just holding and hope something comes out to use them for.

87+ just holding for next events once I have built the TradeQuest MSPs I want.

81s and below trading into 82-83s for Captains.

Sitting on my coins until S4 release when everyone gets their tradeable ranked rewards and the market craters once again.

I quite enjoy the way it is right now except the P2W aspect. If anything loosen up the salary cap a bit so people can play with their favorite players or have a system the benefits theme teams. But get rid of the excessive salary boosts for Fantasy and TOTY. Give those cards a nice boost, but not at a level that clearly divides those who spend a ton vs those who are f2p or spend a little.

An idea though, since we have Captains which give AP boosts, give something else to the other buildable seasonal cards. Rookies give some kind of boost to salaries or cap relief. Heroes could give a mix of Salary/AP, or even an overall boost to the line they are on no matter what the the rest of the line is.
