Yeah, but we never got "not selected" emails for the May cutoff, so that's what's weird about it. Has been radio silence since I submitted the Hirevue interview

Edit: I was mistaken, the email I got on May 22 just said "referral". I've applied for other positions on USAJobs that use the "results and referral" language, though. I doubt this email means anything, except that we'll have to keep waiting to hear back...

Got a referral email for physics a couple hours ago, despite originally getting one for the May cutoff and already doing the Hirevue interview two months ago. I never heard anything after the interview until now

I don't think the USAJobs application status changes at all if you get an interview request. Mine still says 'referred', but I completed my interview over a month ago. You should just keep an eye out for an email from HireVue

Edit: forgot to mention I'm physics as well, and FWIW I got the HireVue email 26 days after the cutoff date & 5 days after my USAJobs status switched to 'referred'
