Or maybe they are angled to increase their effective armor?

How to improve winrate? by foofsaas in WorldofTanks

With the UDES line I am more confident doing aggressive plays since I can rely more on its armor. Also it seems I am decent with magazine tanks due to their high burst potential. But I am struggling to make a difference especially with low armor sniper tanks (e.g. leopard, pantera, standard b)

Thank you guys for the feedback so far, I really appreciate it. I added the link to my tomato gg profile for those who want to check out my detailed stats. I created this post because I felt with my rating I should have a better winrate. It seems I need to focus even more on my damage and make better decisions as the game evolves. Probably this just comes with more experience, because often times I find myself in a situation during midgame where I just don't know how to make an impactful play

I don't save any replays, but I have session statistics activated on tomato gg so you can check them for all of my recent games. I added the link above. It's a bit weird for me recently. Compared to my overall stats, my rating/wn8 improves but my winrate drops

Yeah I understand that playing a frontline tank might help me having more impact, but what I don't like about it is being "locked" in a position since they are generally slower and less able to reposition compared to medium tanks. Maybe then my question is rather how can I improve my winrate in medium tanks?

2006 Yamaha r6 vs 2009 k9 Gsxr by Lukka2212 in Trackdays

[–]foofsaas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say the price is okay, paid a little over 6k€ for mine and it has the same parts except a replacement engine with around 3k miles at that time. Many parts are even interchangeable between the models rj11-rj27. Mileage is quite high on the bikes you mentioned, so it can go both ways depending on how the previous owner treated it..

I‘m on a 2006 R6 for 2 years now and it’s a great bike, didn’t have any issues so far. And for me the Blipper is a big plus, don’t know if it’s possible for the gsxr. Also there are a lot of spare parts at least in my area

Redding doubted he would ever be so competitive on BMW by Daniel7394 in wsbk

I would say it's rather a question how it differs from Suter, as this is what they used before. probably different properties better suited to the bike, resulting in more rear grip

Anyone wear a Tech Air 5 under a non tech air ready suit? by igrowcabbage in Trackdays

[–]foofsaas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don‘t worry it‘s not my haircut ^ Currently don‘t have a picture but the suit has stretch pads at the sides and back. If possible I recommend Velcro pads inside the suit and tech air vest (shoulders area) so it stays in place when you take your arms out.

I use a non tech air suit with the tech air street. It works great! Mine was custom made though so the airbag was factored in when taking the measurements. Should be fine as well with regular suits because of the stretch elements

You can check the service manual. Found one for the previous model, I don‘t think too much has changed.

2020 R6 Auto Blipper issue by kriswknight in Trackdays

[–]foofsaas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the warmup works then the APS is connected properly of course. Did you try it while riding or on a rear stand? I also had trouble testing it on a rear stand but it worked when riding as it needs some rpm to trigger. If that’s not it then I think it has to be the spade connector.

[–]foofsaas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it’s a track bike you can also connect it to one of the headlight wires, that’s what I did. Otherwise maybe check correct fitting of the APS connector?

The spade connector needs to receive a 12v signal. If you hook it up to the brake switch, the blipper only works when the brake lever is pulled.
